  • i wouldnt worry to much about this:

    1. alot of volunteers work on it, so 1 guy leaving would definetly not mean the end
    2. theres so many companies that have their own distro or rely on linux for servers. i bet they wouldnt wanna see linux die either

  • i dont think its in docker. i run it as an app in truenas. and it does have the permissions to all folders in the main folder

  • i double checken permissions and when i set its path to "/mnt/drive/cat" it can find every pic in there. but as mentioned when i set the path to "/mnt/drive" it cannot look into the folders i have on /drive. is there a setting i need to enable or something?

  • ok i did what this document says (CameronDev's screenshot really helped too), but when i scan the library it doesn't do anything. i even changed the permissions for user "apps" with ID 568 to be able to control the shared folders i have
