Depending on your interpretation it literally happened to me. Long Covid has me tied to my bed 24/7. I have even less to contribute to my family than a door knob. But my wife still loves me.
It's been too long for me to remember specifics but I remember not liking it very much.
But I really enjoyed his Martian Chronicles. It's a collection of short stories about Mars and its colonisation. Some stories have similar themes as Fahrenheit 451.
That's one reason why I like using systemd timers instead of cronjobs. You can easily test it by running the unit instead of setting the job to "in a minute".
Downside is that you don't easily get notification mails for any output.
Nah, I do want it to grow. I'd really love to get more life into some niche communities. But I also recognise that it will make the place even more attractive to all the bad actors out there.
Steam Decks have two touchpads. They are incredibly useful with Steam's virtual keyboard where you essentially controll two cursors with them for each side of the keyboard.
Having this functionality with every virtual keyboard would be great.
