100% agree. The "easy answers" are pre-requisites. You don't get to bitch about them not helping until you've actually done them and still feel bad. See also:

Are you getting enough good sleep? (Sleep apnea is extremely common and also quicker and more convenient than you think to diagnose and treat.)

People dismiss these out of hand without actually trying them. Your body affects your mood a lot. I've had to deal with so many people both at work and in my personal life who were perpetually crabby because they never learned how to properly take care of themselves.
I've been using Bazzite on an HTPC that also does some light gaming for a couple of months, and I like it. I'm still on W10 on my main gaming rig, though. (not because of any specific deficiency with Bazzite, just have a couple of games I play that have anticheat issues under Linux)
You'd have to pay me to take one now, even with the warranty and a service arm that presumably exists. After the company is defunct? That's the heaviest piece of ewaste ever made.
I could see Trump and Hegseth letting more service members die to stoke public outrage against Iran in the runup to midterms. It won't work, mind you, but I could see them doing it.
