Have you tried Zero Sweat? I don't know about your specific skin but I've gotten pretty inflamed armpits a number of times from various causes including deodorants (specifically the white powdery kind that actually somewhat stops you from sweating), but this stuff never bothers me and works better.
We always try to frame it as "No we can't do all the fun stuff all the time because things cost money" instead of "I want to be riding a dirt bike on the Pacific coast, you little shit."
Likely Valentine's Day conception here, and this rang a bell but for a different reason… When I was in my early 20s I was convinced all I needed to do to make it in the world was focusing on my music, which obviously involved copious drinking.
