  • I will hopefully suggest all of you look into Run For Something. They have won quote a lot of electionswith young progressive candidates trained up. But they could also use more help.

    Research them/volunteer for them. They take no AIPAC, and members don't either. Read their Substack: Feel Good RFS Updates for their accomplishments across the country from every month.

    If we all want better we must continue to do together

  • Don't have to go in person at first. They do meetings online/ phone calls/ etc. There are in person events but those are for after people are setup to get things done

    Don't waste your gas. First connect with them online, then meetup in-person. Ask them how you can get other people active too so in your area and nearby it makes it easier

    RFS has an Online Community that is basically a forum too as another option to contact everybody in the community once you sign up to join. Can just use a throwaway email/Proton/Alias/etc

    Look on, Bluesky/Mastodon/Lemmy/etc to contact people who are publicly posting about getting things done. Who are doing

    Go at it from multiple angles. There are many people in Missouri who will want to be on your side but first you gotta find them and learn how to do together

  • No worries, maybe you can do a role of promotion getting it in the eyes of people with the skills to get it done. Many ways to go about it. Another person on my comment thread is willing to do it. Couple others too

  • Which state? Also join other state ones, & up with other cities/towns in your state. That way you can help ech other, & they can teach you how to get others active in your area along with nearby major city to get things done. Then expand to the state

    Have hope, & take action at least a couple hours a day it'll be very worth. I believe in all of us

  • Remember everyone. Moderate Democrats in USA are Center-Right in World Politics. They might as well be 2 sides of the same coin

    If you are a voter who wants real change put in progressives, or indpendents that actually lean left in World politics

    Run For Something trains progressive candidates to run and win. Couple days ago they won big for various elections when we had that very good day

    They also have on Substack: RFS Feel Good which gives weekly updates about everything they have accomplished in & out of office

    Volunteer to help more candidates & current officials to get things done!!

    In world politics, USA Moderate Democrats are Center-Right on the scale

    So they might as well be 2 sides of the same party

    Sure there are some good moderates but majority have been failing us for too long.

    So look into/research/volunteer for Run For Something. They train Progressive candidates and won many of their elections couple days ago when we won big

    They take no AIPAC, & actively make sure their members do not. They are growing nationally their bench & have on Substack RFS Feel Good. Which weekly updates people with accomplishments they have collectively completed over the years

    It would get people working together to make it happen very quickly. Then the load will be shared by everyone who joins it on building it out. The initial setup & maintainence is the spark we need to get it going!!

  • Seriously? Many people are getting things done. You need more hope & to see the reality that we are kicking their asses regardless of any setbacks.

    "Do you want a better world or not?" is the fundamental question. If you enjoy life, life with other people, and people making things for us all to enjoy that is new/better maintain what we already have then you should want people to succeed in every way.

    More people get active by the day as well.

    You are really strong for everytbing you habe endured brl/sis. We got this alright! No matter what!! Also read up on any articles https://goodgoodgood.co/ says about Hope (The June One, This October one, The Hope Quotes one, and more). That is what has been keeping me going. Kinda why I keep spreading word about it too. They talk about how it is fundamental for everybodies lives based on research

    I posted a really hopeful post on I think it was on politics community (I know politics suck) about the Senate Dems Caving. Made The Post To Help Boost Morale For The People. Take a read of it. Especially since it mentions the hope articles I mentioned above with links. It definitely makes the meltdowns happen a lot less
