  • Just select the first instance that shows up then.

  • There is no karma counter builtin, but it is also not something hard to implement. But I remember an chromium/firefox extension displaying it. "Karma" in Lemmy can be calculated manually though.

  • Good points. I actually prefer writing software with music, but not when reading books. It's weird.

I can definitely relate to your last point. When I hear people talking, I often find myself subconciously trying to piece together what they’re saying, which distracts me from focusing on my reading. More speech where I can't comprehend what people are talking about seems to be less distracting than a few speaking.

  • I guess the feature was already merged in one of the past Lemmy versions then?

  • Or you can be an instance admin. Iirc In the next lemmy version (1.0.0), mods will also be able to view votes in their communities.

  • Thunder and Jerboa atm.

  • Is it me or did this guide get inspired by the fediverse guide on peertube's official instance

  • I try to use Thunder but still mostly use my instance's tesseract UI when I need to do moderation as Thunder lacks them.

  • If the UI is the problem, the lemmy devs are working on a more modern looking UI using daisyUI atm.

  • Rules are rules. Sorry.

  • Locking for rule 5.

  • #babyfungus Despacito

  • Seems like codeberg got significant attention for spammers to come and do this.

  • It will federate with other AP platforms.

  • Why the repost?

  • If I am being honest, Mbin/Kbin's concept is much better than Lemmy. I like how you can microblog and just use it like a normal forum, which means you can interact with even more people since microblogs (from Mastodon, for example) don't really federate with Lemmy. I'd like to use Mbin, but there is no real useful android app for it yet (yes I know Interstellar exists, but it isn't very featureful yet).
