Stay away from resin as a beginner. It requires serious ventilation (ducts etc) and precautions which I’m assuming you don’t have planned. As for FDM, keep it in a room where you won’t be when it’s printing and make sure to crack a window open during printing or afterwards if you’re printing ABS/ASA as it’ll warp if you don’t have an enclosed printer.
They do this because they can and because people let them. Every government wants as much control as possible over everything, web being the (relatively) newest target. It’s on us to oppose that.
Fair point but even though it seems USB-C caps out at 5A, it’s quite possible the voltage could be even higher when higher quality materials are used for the existing connector along with controllers that, say, check the resistance before asking for said higher voltage, thus delivering higher wattage. Also keep in mind that the general trend is efficiency, especially with ARM gaining serious momentum.

Haha thanks for asking, it’s about half-fun half-stressed-out, I’m making a 40A 10 channel CCT LED controller on a perfboard with a bunch of temperature sensors, presence sensors, fan controllers and other stuff. The first one sucked ass because of EMI from high frequency switching on the FETs so hopefully I’ll figure something out this time… Thinking about doing a split design, with everything power related completely distanced from all the low power stuff as I’m not super knowledgeable.
Finally, some good fucking AI
