They're right, no one is safe. We've already seen the creep: first it was violent illegal immigrants, then it was any illegal immigrants, then it was immigrants waiting for due process on their case, then it was green card holders - not necessarily a lot of them, but enough to establish precedents and see how far they can get.
Now they're saying "violent US citizen-criminals" - but they run the state that determines whether you're a criminal and how violent your crimes was. Remember all those videos of non-resisting people being screened at by the cops "Stop resisting!; remember bills in Florida and other states to label trans people sex offenders - that's what we're up against. Any resistance or non-conformity can and likely will be punished.
I use "fucking terts" when I'm angry at a specific person ("terts" is a derogatory term for earth humans (from Alien Nation), and "furless human" when I'm in a slightly amused mood (it's what my cat used to curse me).
It also doesn't help that one party has a history of twisting or actively redefining the meaning of words, to create loopholes out of the most plain language possible.

Uhh, with what money will they invest? They've given most of their money back to investors. Also, you only invest big money in countries where you have faith in their futures. Trump has irrevocably damaged the US' image and relationships. No one is going to trust us any more, and they're right in doing that.

Because I knew they'd immediately move to "Congress didn't convict him so there's nothing to see here", "if we have to go to court, let's bring in every stalling tactic possible" followed by "why are you investigating such an old event". Based on an article I read over the weekend: There's a treaty where they get a certain amount of water from the Colorado and we get a certain amount of water from the Rio Grande. It's supposed to be roughly the same amount of water per year, but they wrote the treaty to operate on a five-year cycle so things could be adjusted if there was a drought.
The US government is claiming (and I have no idea if this is true or not) that Mexico regularly undersupplies water for the first four treaty years and then desperately tries to make up the deficit in the fifth year, leaving US farmers with farms suffering from insufficient water for four years and then too much access to water the final year.
