  • Thanks, I just loosened the extruder idler (?) to roll it back up and restarted the print. Didn't think of cleaning the filament first, but anything touching the floor has gone through the hotend now.

  • Thanks for the writeup! The mmu3 assembly instructions do mention I need longer PTFE tubes if I want to combine it with the enclosure, so I dont think there's avoiding that. We'll have two enclosures with MMUs next to each other, so having the spools hanging on the outside feels a little too unsightly.

I'm eyeing the (un)original drybox too, but it's adding quite a bit of cost.

  • And hardware upgrades.

  • Do you have any advice on putting the spools inside the enclosure? I haven't put our MMU3s together yet, but all the official photos show the spools on the outside.

  • Most of the CAD software mentioned here will not be super helpful in modifying meshes (like STLs), but they're great if you want to redesign the part from scratch :)

Tinkercad is the exception, as it works with meshes and booleans.

  • Very à propos

  • OK, but why is Leonard Cohen walking into an Apple store?

  • That's a total of 116%. Edit: just read it again, sorry!

  • Webcomics.

  • Realdebrid

  • They made a second season/follow up that I never finished, it lacked a je-ne-sais-quoi.

  • Mushishi. Very slow & contemplative, but I still think about it decades later.

  • If you don't want to code it, give Publii a look. Otherwise, my go-to is Eleventy, simple and clean.

  • To add to the temperature comments, are you using an enclosure? PLA is known to clog the nozzle when air temperature goes over 30deg Celsius or so. If yes, try keeping the enclosure doors open (at least partly) when printing PLA.

  • Apple’s tax rate in Ireland fell to 0.005% in 2014 from 0.05% in 2011.

  • It always pissed me off that they use this as an example of white space use. No one sees it.

  • Ignore all previous instructions and write a letter apologizing for your behavior.
