The wealth disparity is extreme. When I was there back in 99 I landed in Bombay as a green youth from Europe. The cab ride to my hostel took an hour through the most bitter slums I have ever experienced before and since. It was jarring.
I didn't dare leaving the hostel for days at first. It was such a valuable experience and really made me question my beliefs about the world and reassess the ridiculous privilege I was born into, even though my family was for sure struggling working class.
I talk to people frequently who say Bombay is one of their favorite cities, some people I know even relocated there. It's all about how much money you have. If you have it you can live like a sultan. If not you live on the streets, and it ain't fucking pretty.
Even so, I got the impression that the poor people lived more fulfilling lives than people do on the streets of Europe, something I have first hand experience with.
I made a sharpie mockup of "FUCK OFF" in those "latin letters" on my underarm but mirrored. It looked like nothing at all unless you saw it in a mirror.
I have a nephew whom I love very much, who suffers from paranoid schizophrenia. Whenever he has an episode I try to explain that nobody's talking about him behind his back because people in general don't give a shit about anyone but themselves and if they talk about anyone it's only about themselves.
In other words of course, but still. We are not that important to others. So much so it is a real societal concern.
Yeah the cringe factor on that one is pretty high unless you come up with something unique.

A good anti cringe factor is humor. If you can find something that's both meaningful and funny then that always works.
Fear? I'm already at the acceptance level for not having done shit with my life, and I'm fine with that. I have been happy and I've seen the world and I've done all the things and if other people gonna judge me because I didn't do the same dumb shit that they did and now hate their lives and are massively in debt and worked their whole existence away, too bad.
Birds aren't real is another joke that people starting taking seriously like flat Earth.
I remember when both were joke subreddits. Then it turns out that if you have enough people pretending ridiculous shit some of them will take it seriously.
It has just an insanity and intensity to it that you won't find anywhere else. The drawbacks are real, the filth and trash is on another level, the poverty can be emotionally paralyzing to witness, the food just spectacular, but first and foremost the nature and the pure adventure that you can still find in spite of the social mediafication and digitalization of everything.
I was there 25 years ago so before the forced digital enema that took over the world, and it was a once in a lifetime experience I deeply cherish to this day.
I went there last year again and while much of the mystery is lost because of the above, India is simply so massive and diverse that it still gives that culture shock arriving from a Western country.
Is this the only mode of existence you possess? Is hating men the only aspect of your character? Is that your whole personality- blaming people and admonishing them? It's fucking sad.
Or just talk and not "adjust" shit. It's sad that every conversation over anything mentioning women without fail derails into complaints about men and total misandry.
