  • Forgot about home row, they tried to teach me to type their way but I didnt like that

    Now I type faster than most but thats not saying much

    However I look at the keyboard only, instead of the screen only like they tried to teach

    My way I can move my fingers as fast as possible and i'm accurate, I know what key I hit so I know what it says on the screen without looking

  • I have foundthat its pretty hard to find a job that doesnt have some form of ethical concern, whether its animal welfare and factory fsrming, the single use plastic crisis, exploitation of immigrants, perpetuating and expanding the use of fossil fuels, polluting in other ways etc... in fact its usually a combo of many of these.

    Like a pharma company that produces a billion kilos of plastic waste every month, but on earth day its all about the workers carrying a fucking jar all week to measure their personal garbage production and see how they can reduce it!

  • Yeah its not a brag at all... ive been suffering a miserable existence since before I can remember and on top of that most people think I should just snap out of it and be happy like its all my fault for not trying hard enough

    Aaacktually my life is so much fucking effort to just exist let alone function and then on top of that deal with not fitting in, being misunderstood, all while being forced to contribute the very society that gave rise to me and excludes me

    Therefore no there isn't a depth where the weight of the seawater above compresses the water to a density equal to that of the bowling ball

  • Wow thats really fucked up considering I could jump in my car and drive across the border into the US right now and the border guards most likely wouldnt look at me twice

    We went across last year twice and they just wanted to know why and where were staying, didnt even ask for proof

    So its highly dependant on your origin country (im Canadian) and skin colour (im pasty white)

  • I tried various amounts of raw oats in my homemade breads but found they simply disappeared by the time the vread was cooked

    Perhaps it was the breadmaker, macerating the oats, but I never even noticed any chunks

    Im sure on top would be fine...

  • Did you know, around these parts of Canada at least, we dont even have freezer burritos for sale? Let alone suuuper cheap ones?? No the only thing ive seen was frozen taquitos that were imported from the US and dummy expensive, and also terrible... mostly cheapy sauce that evacuates the singular 1mm cube of chicken from the taquito out onto the plate 🤣

    Yeah I wish we had more Mexican stuff round here

  • You planfor the day and fall asleep? If I start planning I start stressingand worrying and I stay up all night

    Especially when it spirals into panic about not having fallen asleep yet which keeps me awake even longer which makes me panic because I have stuff to do tomorrow! Which keeps me awake, on and on
