That’s conservative values for you. Churches have excused pedophilia and abuse since the beginning of time. They’re also homophobic but only to the bottoms. So their actions are in line with their belief system. It’s extra funny that Trump is a bottom.
It’s part of American values. Part of patriarchy. Churches always hid sexual crimes. What happened isn’t anything different, so their reaction is the same - make excuses and shrug.
That’s not a long term solution. We’ll get “Just Dance” Vance, who will continue the project and continue dancing through 2028. The d’s need to get their shit together, and so far my expectations are buried underground.
