  • Probably just because she's constantly on the front page of Reddit. I had blocked her there which solved the problem for me. But if she starts getting reposted a lot here there's no escaping it.

    Not to downplay the fact that there are some loud mysogynists. But there are legitimate artistic crituques that shouldn't be lumped in with them.

  • The description that resonates with me is that you agree with what she says but cringe at how she says it. I think it really comes down to the fact that the comics are never deeper than surface level. I'd enjoy them if my takeaway was ever more than "well, yeah..."

  • I'm glad this conversation is happening because I hate Black Mirror for this. Everything that happens is the worst possible outcome. The ideas and situations are great, but actually watching it is a slog. Pessimism porn is the perfect designation.
