  • the trick is that you can live this great moment with other RPG too, and most of them are IMO way better than the good old D&D, which is why I prefer different games

  • D&D

I've been playing RPG for decades, but play D&D less than once a decade, and my impression goes form awful to not worth my money/time. When I was young and broke, having to buy a player manual + a GM guide + a monster manual when tons of RPG would fit in a single book (Yes I know, clan-books for let's say Vampire are also a money-pit), was out of my budget, then every-time I played D&D, feel like the story were not interesting as concept like alignment and some spells like detect lies would kill many interesting plot. Too which you had a lot of character optimisation often over the long-term (If you didn't take that feat a low level you cannot have the killer feat at high level), let alone the people mixing RPG and miniature games

Sure you can have some funs game with D&D and play it differently but there is so many other game out-there (and so few time) , that why would I even bother joining a D&D game rather than another,

  • To my understanding US English use different words to differentiate whether you own or not your appartment/condo.

Which IMO is a bit weird, but languages have tons of weird stuff, so one less, one more

  • This shouldn't be a political position, but an appointed civil servant one. You want the criminal justice to work on a reliable way through the country, and not let any populist politician apply their own exotic method.

I believe the US has tons of exemple of bad sheriffs but good speakers doing more harms than good

  • Captain obvious sneaking in, but There is tons of legit way to exercise, not just lifting weight in the gym, you can look for Volley-ball, Rock-dancing, or karate-class all of that is a legit way to exercise, which may even be cheaper and more fun than going to a gym.

    Regarding your other points

    • Get a T-shirt and either a short or a pair of legging, to start-with you don't need any of these high-end expensive fabric (Which may help if you plan to climb an alpine summit or run a marathon, but not to lift some weight casually). Total cost should be in the 10-15 EUR range (It sucks to live in a world where clothing is built by slave-like-labour).
    • Most gym would include a couple of coached session as part of their beginner package. But a typical program would be like warm-up on a threadmill/eliptical then a bunch of strength exercise either on machine or free weight, and 10 minutes of cool-down with stretching, you can modulate duration/intensity depending on your goals.
    • You can do a lot at home with body weight. However, being in the Gym sometimes helps as you are in a dedicated place with a dedicated time-slot. ideally choose a place either near your home, or on your commute, if not you'll never go there

  • Pen and paper works pretty well. Everyone who can read/write/count understand how it works and can be appointed as a political/citizen observer.

Moreover, if the count is public (not in the US but it's the case where I vote) everyone can see the counting and get the number, all it takes is people having 2h to give to their country to help counting or just watch it.

    This make fraud almost impossible

  • If you're a student, applying for a student job it may work, but afterwards try something else it's close from home, or I want to build experience in that field

  • Some form of exercise are better for your back than others.

Pain isn't normal, and 30 is quite young so talk with a doctor, get a couple of physiotherapy session, and find a sport helping your back (and a whole strategy)

  • May-be not talking about trans agenda and transgenderism would make your post feeling less bigoted, and more open for discussion.

And in general denying basic human rights to people no matter the reason sucks

  • Location matters, most western democracies have a minimum age for criminal liability and 10 years old would be considered too young to face criminal justice

  • Obligatory reminder that "Gyms aren't the only way to exercise", find a sport you enjoy with people you like and you'll spend time having fun rather than feeling like exercise is a chore. Most clubs gladly take adult beginner (who are the volunteers who'll run the club in 10 years)

As you said, weight loss is in the plate rather than in the gym. But exercising helps with overall physical and mental health

  • Read the wiki, experiment, and improve it.

But indeed, CAD is a very specific way of thinking, and if you haven't done any technical drawing course you won't find it by yourself

  • Basic math. I don't talk about solving differential equation. But if you don't want to get scammed you need to understand what's a 10% discount, how do interest work, price per kg, or price per m^2

  • And then there is band like Dream theatre or the the deer hunter who use complex chords and harmonies

Actually, I think that the answer of OP question is that Metal is an incredibly large genre wich can blend with every possible genre, here is a metal band playing Take five

  • Mimicking a patented process is also grounds for a lawsuit.

Just note that at lest within EU, pure software patents are illegals. It's still a bit tricky because you want to sell globally (including places with software patent) and that it's possible to patent device/process using software. So, to my understanding you can't patent let's say A game where you build a maze and put tower to defend-it, and use XP to make your tower bigger, but you can't patent let's say a device using sensor, servo an algorithm to let a car drive itself.

  • There is more planes undersea than submarine in the air.

Technically speaking, the physics of control surface is the same underwater, so it should work not that bad, just replace the reactor by a ship prop and let's sea
