    They want a rich old white man. Only one time ever did they attempt something else, and that lead directly to a third of the country becoming extremists.

    I love AOC. Hope she will become president one day. But please just run with someone that your sexist, racist, elitist neighbors can actually vote for.

    Let AOC become Senate majority leader first. That would be really cool, impactful, and help people get used to her.

    In America it is already legal to force a felony to unpaid labor in working prisons, and they are trying to change these rules to include immigrants in border camps.

  • There are only 160mil valid passports in America right now.

    You are right though that you can be a registrerede voter with no party affiliation, but there are still 50mil eligible voters that haven't registrered.

    And do you deny that a lot of Americans have a hard time getting off of work to go vote? That making election day a national holiday would not easily make a lot more people participate in the countrys democracy?

  • In my country i just get my vote-note in the mail. In America you now have to own a passport which most doesn't, be a member of a party, which 90mil eligible voters aren't, and hope that your boss has the same political views as you, so he lets you off work to go vote.

    Angola is a prison built on a slave plantation by the same name, and houses 70% descendants from the same slave farm. It didn't even change name when it became a prison.
