  • Exactly, I could understand it on the huge subreddits with one question per minute, but here is so silent...

    Plus, as a user, when a mod deletes a post that I took over ten minutes to write, I go "fuck It" and stop contributing altogether (this also includes replying to other posts)

    In the USA it's easier to buy an ar-15 than configuring a multi material 3d printer to print a fidget spinner

    And btw if someone really needs to 3d print a weapon they would CNC a receiver from a metal block using a $500 AliExpress contraption rather than making a single use plastic thingy that will probably amputate your fingers at first shot

    IMHO it's trivial to solve: if the image has the genai watermarks (also the invisible like synthid), then the user it's permanently banned at the first offense

    The physical limitation used 30+ years ago (a bottleneck in intake + different cylinders in the CVT) could be removed as easy as the software limitations that are used today. Maybe even easier than today as it didn't require a specialized tablet and an expensive software license
