  • Unlike traditional web apps, OneDrive Photos is actually quite well built. It has a Windows 11-like Acrylic design for the context menu and does not take up a huge amount of resources, as RAM usage stays under 1GB

Excuse me, a photo gallery that takes 1gb of RAM, especially in this economy, doesn't seem "quite well built".

This fucking web app wrappers, Picasa had 100x more features while using 50x less resources

  • I don't understand this, the employees are few and the pr fallout + fighting this is much more expensive than just agreeing to what they demand

Plus it's a foundation and shouldn't have profit

  • photorealistic image of a nuke plan

"Photorealistic". It seems a screenshot from SimCity 4

Same for the fake trump statue

Maybe the hallucinated text nearby the white house has a bit of truth? It says "The Whine House [something in Cyrillic] pederast"

And also the fake crater nearby the hospital in Gaza is blatantly fake: IRL there's only the crater instead of the hospital as unfortunately all the patients and doctors were terrorists

  • No no but Logitech boss is protecting the rest of the world, eh. He's doing it for you, not for increasing the profits

How many people are going to open up their own mouse, take out the battery, put in a new one because the battery ran old? [...] Mouse switches means you have to open up the whole mouse, and you’re most likely going to break something [...] I don’t want to like, sell you a part just for you to screw it up and then be sad about it

  • Flexible / folding displays are not covered

So that's why after almost a decade, only now Apple is ready to launch their foldable

    • "bad" word censored for not tripping the Facebook OCR filter ✅
    • Logo of a movie that's currently spending a lot of marketing money, perfectly centered and with properly applied transparency ✅

Result: definitely an organic meme, not sponsored

  • How considerate, after you watch the ad, they leave a new button on the dashboard, so you can watch the ad again and again

  • In the last forced update they managed to even make it worse, with a useless sidebar "connect to your phone and see notifications here, because reasons" and then removed recent files/applications to show a worse copy of iOS automatic category group, where windows tries and successfully fails to group the apps in some random group. It's an ugly mess

  • I arrived at Miami airport and I bought a beer can in a store, I opened it, as I went out of the store they stopped me "hey wait you can't drink it outside", and put it in the paper bag

Not sure if they trolled me or if if drinking alcohol from a paper bag was actually required by the law

  • Very nice, I even considered using escargot to patch the old clients but then realized it's not a great idea security wise

  • Nice that it has support for both KeePass and bitwarden, can use both at the same time?

What's the pricing (not specified in the play store page), it's a subscription (so it doesn't exist for me) or it's one time?

  • Do not update any bitwarden client until you can update vaultwarden

  • did he took down the repo? it gives 404

scared that somebody would fork it? what a loser

  • grok already illegally scraped all the free galleries from the early 00s with hundreds of shots of the same model in the various positions, making a deal with a porn aggregator just to get links to images already previously scraped and a few new gw pics don't make sense

  • it's infuriating seeing the two assholes cutting everything and destroying the lifes of millions of people for literal pennies, then wasting trillions on a useless war that has only economic downsides, just because bibi asked it nicely

  • Why there's a question mark in the headline?

  • I have a dedicated button for em dashes on my keyboard /s

  • And also that the car dealer takes a way fatter commission on a lease (commissions on insurances, commission on the extended warranty) so (at least here in my country) sometimes they "accidentally" incorrectly fill the request form with "wrong" data (like higher income, different employment status and so on)

  • They seems better, never heard them before, not a thing in my country
