  • Boobles?! What does that mean?!

  • They spend so much more resources on the extreme minority. Fuck groceries. Fuck healthcare. Fuck your old people, job protection, gas, housing, stupid shit like data centers and billionaires.

    It's the trans.

  • My name is Buck and I like to F...

  • I was so furious. In my old car, to replace the left headlight, all you needed to do was reach in and unscrew the bulb.

To replace the right headlight, you need to remove the engine.

  • Those in the 2000s saw the Tea party as the start of this fascist bullshit.

  • I hate links to YouTube. I hate it with every core of my body. You're telling me that to engage with the post, I have to click a link that opens up a fucking ad that I have to watch 10 seconds before I can skip it, while also getting recommended some alt-right taking head or some bullshit clickbaif video?

On reddit, you can upload videos directly. I know that structure is expensive. But that would be my preferred solution.

  • Not sure why this was downvoted. I mean if this was Lemmy shitpost, I get it.

Yeah. Lot of people on the spectrum see everything as problem/solution. Like if you're venting, say so.

  • Going to call a huge bullshit for this. This was made by a pro-US tech company to allow them to walk all over Europe.

The key thing: That's if you can collect.

Tech companies shown time and time again, they will commit a serious injustice, get a warning a few years later, and then hit a lawsuit a few years after that. After 10 years of spinning in legal courts, they finally get a fine.

That fine would be negotiated a dozen times. During that decade, the tech company has already bribed/spent millions arguing that they did nothing wrong.

This is only for major tech companies that survive. There's nothing stopping a tech company from bankrupting itself to avoid collection.

  • I have a custom work VPN that looks like it came from the 90s. Just a simple button, a few options like reconnect.

My home VPN which I pay a subscription for, the UI looks like how the hacker movie UIs look like. There's a global map with all the servers. There's different modes. It's nuts.

  • Duress password that causes the phone to burst into flames. It also shouts "You killed me you murderer! I had a family! You sicko!" As it melts.

The smoke causes everyone to weep. It's not tear gas. Its emotional gas, as everyone in the room is crying at the death of the phone and the life it could have lived.

  • What was the investigation?

  • Yeah I cant understand it at all.

  • No need to apologize.

Understand the symptoms. The last thing you want to do is make some really bad decisions that you can never fix because of it.

  • You're right! I got my many many many many dating app names confused!

  • It's really easy to feed into the rage bait here. So I'll try to be brief.

There's an app called Hinge, and their whole premise was women are required to message first. The root issue they were trying to solve was that on dating apps, men were 90% of the ones who started a convo, and women would get bombarded with hundreds of messages. So this was to flip the script.

Well, it turns out a vast majority of women (and honestly, men too.) really suck at openers.

So you had a bunch of women going, "Hey" as their opening line to flirt with a potential match. And then we were back at the same problem.

  • Yeah this is the next step after having secret police knock on doors and kidnapping people.

  • That's Delirium.

  • Honestly it was pretty common on classic Reddit. Usually a modder. Often times a script kiddie/chrome extension.

It feels nice to see it here and it really takes me back.

  • It's a frontend. So literally a skin to make a website look prettier and more organized.

Imagine a waiter starts telling customers what foods they are allowed to eat. He wasn't the chef, the manager, the owner, anybody.

    That's how stupid it was.
