  • Vr Headset.

Worth it to play Half Life Alyx and 3D Skyrim.

    But was it worth $400?

  • My dumbass company uses AI support chat bots.

The provider we use has safeguards so if you use that "ignore previous instructions"... It doesn't work. Maybe two years ago, but not today

  • Cashiers not being able to sit down

  • It used to be a era of time. Now, it's a full blown personality type.

  • I don't know if this counts.

The parts. The material. Positioning of the chains and brakes. Handlebar position. Pedal tech. Many more bikes have batteries on them.

There's a lot of changes to bikes that putting a 1900s bike to a modern one, and it's the difference between comparing the Wright brothers plane and a modern personal plane today.

  • No way man. My favorite sites will last forever, like ask Jeeves, Yahoo Answers, Gamespy, and ICQ.

Excuse me I have to go to Sears and then Toys R Us. If Im lucky, I might stop by Blockbuster.

  • Trump admins share these meme-shit to distract from real shit.

Pete Hegseth got white supremacy tattoos and fired 24 generals, and brings his wife to Pentagon meetings with him.

    These people are weakening America.

  • This one is hard because it also depends on what "you" (the person receiving this information) considers is good.

I think about the manosphere and those frail babies are surrounded by ego cucks.

  • Absolutely this. I currently know a guy who is a fully grown adult who loves Asmongold and flips out at why he can't get a girl to look at him.

  • I like that a lot! Thank you!

  • "Be yourself" in regards to dating.

I don't know about most people, but I was an absolute asshat in my twenties.

If I had to rephrase that for myself, it would be to read a bunch of books, work out, and learn to be more socially acceptable so people can tolerate my stupid ass and actually want to date me.

(fyi that was like two decades ago and I'm happily married with two kids. )

  • A week? That's fast in America.

The quickest I was able to be seen because of a major health scare was two weeks. When I hurt myself and needed physical therapy, the staff said with a straight face "Lets get you in as the first week is important for recovery. How is [date six weeks in advance]?"

  • Just went to the ER last week and I was there for 3 hours before I got seen. It wasn't life threatening. Then, I was just sitting in the back for 8 hours. Nurse saw me twice. No doctor. I got checked, was given Tylenol and said I was "fine".

I'm glad I didn't crash out. Then I scheduled an appointment with my PRIVATE doctor and could get one in 9 weeks.

I pay $1100 a month for health insurance for me and my family.

I haven't got the bill for ambulance yet or the hospital. But my last ambulance ride was $2800, which insurance was willing to pay 75% of it.

  • 100%.

Then you look through their history and it's them laugh emojiing something like doing a LGBT suicide or some ridiculous shit.

  • Something I do is if a project has way too many stars, click on a few of the names randomly.

If those profiles have 0-1 projects, my yellow flag (not red flag) goes up. Because yeah, it's really easy to buy GitHub stars now.

  • "I'm sorry for what you're going through. Shit sucks. And my heart goes to you."

You can say that to her. But I'm saying that to you too.

I grew up in a household that told me to "walk it off". At funerals, just a bunch of stiff lips. But when my wife's cat died, I was ready to be like you. But my heart broke and I cried my ass off.

So how do you support them? Let everyone grieve. Take care of each other. Ask each other if they need anything. Check in with each other if you are ready for a walk, going out to eat, doing something "a bit" different to recover. Don't try to "get back to normalcy", because there's no such thing. Your life changed. This is the new normal. And after all this, you both will become a little closer and a little stronger.

I lost 3 cats in ten years. Toxic masculinity or whatever, shit is always hard. I put on a face to make sure my wife and kids are taken care of first, of course. But I'm grieving too and they take care of me. Let them.

  • I think about how I haven't reviewed a movie on imdb/rotten tomatoes in years. If you haven't either, then don't trust the user reviews.

  • Authentic Space Mint.

  • Currently still trying to find a country to call home with ICE knocking on doors and all.

It was kind of neat seeing a lot of countries offer visas for buying a house there.
