I thought this for the longest time until I fell down a rabbit hole a while back. Pollen is literally the tree's offspring in the form of microscopic plants. When the flowers of a tree are fertilized, the pollen literally grow into the actual reproductive parts of the plant to begin the fertilization process.
One of my coworkers lives in Texas and frequently reports losing power in the middle of meetings. Don't know if it's true or just him trying to play it off. But he'll drop from a call and reconnect on his phone every so often.

When news articles try to summarize quantum teleportation, they incorrectly imply that information is being transmitted instantly. Quantum entanglement is not intended to send information. It's meant to act like a hash or checksum. The magic in it is it enables both sender and receiver to know that their communication has been tampered with.
It has further use with encryption, but again, it's to facilitate the encryption. The information is still being transmitted as light through the fiber network.
My cat sleeps whenever he's tired or when I go to sleep. He's a proximity cat, so he'll be snoozing nearby depending on where in the house I am. If I go to bed, he's going to go to bed too.
He also doesn't wake me up. The auto feeder gets him food, so I can stay asleep without having to worry about him getting fed. Usually when I wake up he'll be in the mini cat tree or under the bed.
