  • Damn right. A lot of these naysayers probably haven't even knocked on their neighbor doors to build that organization. I mean I did, got a BBQ going, invited my neighbors and got to know them. Once I built rapport, I asked how they felt about ICE and if they would be interested in mutual defense in case they show up on our street. We have been stockpiling food, medicine, and ammunition since then.

    Admittedly getting anybody to do more than though has been met with push back. Maybe that will change after midterms, maybe it won't. Either way I'm with you, and agree that a way forward is individual actions that can't be connected to a group. They started the war, and now the livestock who aren't yet affected think that their chastisements matter. But really their opinion matters to me as little as it matters to their masters. Which is to say, not at all.

    People who want brown, black, disabled and neurodivergent people to sit down and take it should be the first ones volunteering to be in a Concentration Camp. After all, according to them, it's not a big enough deal to get violent over. So let's see them prove it.

  • Which is why I believe a rent/mortgage strike is far more viable. Builds up our resources as the working class, instead of depleting them. Imagine just a single month of no rent/mortgatge how much you could stock up in terms of supplies for a general strike.

    Now imagine a whole neighborhood doing that, a whole town, a whole city, a whole state. It would do severe economical damage, and possibly even crash housing prices.

    Especially if paired with weaponizing local homeless populations by encouraging them to take residence in the various empty homes we have here in the U.S.(which last I think I heard was like 22 empty homes for every homeless person).

  • Is that right? Because I'm not convinced. Even with data like this the knowledge of Trump's remarks about Elon "knowing computers", his completely lackluster few rallies before the 2024 elections, the bomb threats, the millions of mail-in ballots in ditches, and the various other election interference, we still haven't organized as a nation and removed the cheater.

    In fact getting most people to actually look at the data is like pulling teeth.I think instead we'll just roll over like the livestock we are for our oligarchic masters, as we've done so far.

    Would love to be proven wrong though. Please my fellow Americans, prove my doubts wrong. Organize and become Wolves.

  • General Work Strike just isn't feasible at this time, imo. A Consumption strike could be, if we could get enough people on that, and have in fact suggested a similar tactic in the past with a Rent/Mortgage strike.

    Reasons why I think a GWS just isn't feasible is it comes down to resources. The working class here in the U.S. have basically no resources built up to survive without work long enough to break the economy. We don't have mutual aid organizations, unions, or even savings to pull it off.

    Where as a consumption/rent/mortgage strike would allow the working class to keep resources, and possibly even build up enough to make a GWS feasible. Imagine another 2kish in your pocket a month because we all stopped paying our rent/mortgage. How much would it cost the owner class to try to root us from our homes? It also gives many people the home and defensive advantage as goons would have to go into neighborhoods surrounded by enemies from all directions if they tried to evict. It's also an easier sell because of how much rent/mortgage takes out of our checks.

    So yeah, I think General Work Strike is a bad tactic at this time, but a Consumption/Rent/Mortgage Strike is possible if it gains enough popularity.

  • Just because Dems win, doesn't make them fair. Gerrymanding is a very unfair tactic, and Republicans have been disenfranchising voters since before I could vote. And if they cheated, in 2004, why the fuck would they not continue to cheat in every election afterwards? It's a valid logic path to follow, and to assume that every election is likely unfair and has only gotten more unfair since then.

    2020 was won by Biden, but in no way was the election fair. Trump did everything in his power to interfere, and would have won if not for covid basically enforcing nationwide mail in ballots, which turns out to be pretty hard to cheat. Though we did find millions of ballots in ditches, and various other places that never got counted (Edit: In 2024). So yeah... Maybe you're just ignorant of all the data points?

    Like imagine how dumb, and naive you have to be to just go "OH! They accused everybody of cheating, and that's bad! So if I do it back I'm bad too! So I can't do that!" Even when there is evidence, and very valid character reasons to believe that cheating happened lol.   • After seeing the Russian Tails in the numbers for 2016, 2020, and 2024 favoring Trump. It's for sure feels like we haven't seen a fair election in over a decade and I currently question our elections and think they are illegitimate. And that's not even going into the known cheating that happened in Ohio that helped Bush get into office(or the Florida shenanigans from the same election for that matter).

    So yeah, I think Trump cheated with Russia's(and/or Israel's) and Elon's help and is an illegitimate President. Though to be fair he was illegitimate after trying to spawn an insurrection, and should have been hanged for High Treason already.

    WE should be endorsing them. This pretending that violence isn't the answer to violence, is the problem. We keep giving our abusers a pass, because we don't want to be "violent". We keep pretending "two wrongs don't make a right" but that's been bullshit since it first came out of someone's mouth while any form of justice system exists, as violence is needed to apprehend criminals, which literally takes a series of wrongs(Kidnapping, imprisonment, seizure of assets(AKA theft)) to make things right.

    Trump needs to be assassinated, as does his minions. We need to stop pretending there are other solutions besides "violence".
