  • ohhhh boy, lemmy demographics kicking in, half an hour in with this as the first response.

  • I thought of die antwoord first, which is surprising and probably not correct but that's my first answer.

I think they're music videos have a lot to do with that, those really helped me lock into their songs.

I definitely like the zef vibe

  • you a native English speaker?

  • no it isn't, but they should get one anyway.

  • I'm correct.

  • which part are you confused about?

  • I tried to make my answers very simple and concise.

    which part don't you understand?

  • nah

  • it is still very easy to get a passport. I helped a friend get theirs last month.

  • playlist in the meeting room:

break stuff, rollin' .. actually, just limp Bizkit.

  • wow, thanks for sharing, that's awesome

  • true, I guess it's good that there is some television coverage of the protests and people fighting back, I'm just surprised there isn't more.

  • wow dang that is all good to see, glad it's all in one place.

  • everything's isn't; youre probably standing in a cespool and haven't taken a step in any direction to get out of it.

  • it's so crazy the media isn't covering all the protests more.

  • how is it so good? I mean, how are the writers nailing what it means to be a good parent so intuitively well that you feel it in your gut?

do they have any special academic training?

  • yea, it is nice that the devs are so dedicated to creating unique clients for us

and their work itself is so impressive.

  • me too on boost!

boost was the only way i used reddit, nothing else came close.

I can't tell what's different in the implementation here, but it does not click.

jerboa for lemmy is the closest to the simplicity I enjoyed in boost for reddit, and I do think summit merits another look in a month or two

  • the dev seems very dedicated, that's why I'll give summit another try later. quick links don't work yet, not all the setting toggles l are functionally tied yet to the features. there are also several tiny post/link/layout issues that I notice but don't have to deal with on jerboa.

I'm interested to see where summit goes, it is the only other lemmy client I used for more than a couple hours.
