  • Any examples of those rare books?

Edit: of course not, what an absolute shit article. "If you don't dislike trashing a book you're a bad person!!!" Basically. What an ignorant idea. The article linked in the first "article" (the first contains 0 information) isn't much better, large companies buy books nobody wants, scans them and discards them.

Guess what librarians worldwide do? Well they don't scan the books before sending them for recycling.

So an overly emotional trash headline to generate that sweet anger and engagement IMO.

  • I feel the AI hate serve a second purpose and that's forgetting all the other things that sets the planet on fire.

  • Common! Which country?!

  • You'd need the gun-nut culture to go with it I guess.

Other countries also had these problems, just less it seems

  • Well that's a confusing graph.

  • With Heavy Metals!!!!!

Yeah the comic is kinda lame.

  • Windows have always had a shitty different net stack, if it's based on BSD it's truly amazing how they took a perfect thing and broke it.

  • Oh, the old "it's the consumers responsibility" fallacy.

Nothing will change if it isn't forced, or if electric cars get cheaper.

  • Now factor in lifetime costs of repairs and gas/electricity!

BTW I have no idea which one is which of your two cars 😅

  • Least American comics.

  • Or even better:

    Blocked

  • // I'm paid by the line

  • You forgot the AbstractHydrationManager

  • Why would they, it's just not allowed. And you can sure do.

    Do you even program?

  • Oh, one of those entitled people.

No I'm not discussing your "reasonings" about a "plain assertion", because:

    A) they do what they want with their thing, it's not for you to decide anything.

    B) you just come down as a twat.

  • I'm in the same boat, kinda. I know how it works, and it's good, and incredible that it works IMO. A next step forward.

For games though, I think it's a bit like art, maybe the comparison isn't very good, but a real artwork must (IMO) have some human intent, you can only rehash old stuff with AI (today) so much. Games should not be made by gamers, but by some one who knows how to make games. Like make you work for that reward. If that makes sense 😅.

    Anyway, interesting times ahead!

  • We're not talking about bad code, we're talking about slop code. It's different. It's easy just to generate slop code, it is not so easy to code all by yourself.

  • They are honest and say what they are doing, go make your own free git hub with crypto and LLM?

  • That train has left, it's too hot for that to be enough.
