My phone has more power, storage and ram than my 2008 gaming PC had.
My next phone will be a Linux one and if possible it'll also be my "main PC", maybe it won't work that well but today my main PC is a 6500T and it's enough for me so my hopes are a bit up :-)
I would like to see the ratio of up/down, because that's IMO much more informative, if you allow votes at all. Personally I think votes just triggers some dopamine crap and is totally useless most of the times (exceptions are serious places where responsible people downvote wrong information for example)
That's because of the harsh climate though? Cheaper to pay more for digged cables than constantly repair aerial lines? At least it alleviates the cost.
It's like choosing a linux distribution. When you know how the fediverse works, it's easy, but when you don't, you don't want to hear that "it's just like email!!".
It has to just work without any kind of choice what so ever, IMO, or loads of people just won't bother. Look at Signal, slick as hell, still people prefer big corp stuff...
I have worked with MSVC a lot so that might tint my experience but I don't get what's so good with vs code. It kind of sucks in a classic windows way, many options for the same thing and often it just doesn't work. Tried to set it up on linux with godot & c# (🥴) impossible to debug and autocomplete was like every library on earth, except godot ofc. What a pain in the butt.
Yes it is. And nowhere is stayed how efficient it is (only their "target" which is worth less than toilet paper because it isn't true).
