  • Fair point. In my workplace, I’ve never seen it being used by someone who needed it. It is either taken by people who prefer it or when the other two stalls are filled up. Understand your point though.

  • Yea, I think it makes sense for them to stop if they are getting a return on their investment.

  • Yea, fair point.

  • I’m honestly blown away that Nestle stopped or reduced advertising. It seems like twitter is exactly the home for such a terrible company.

  • Oligarchy.

  • I think it comes down to how you learn. I’ve found programming books useful because I tend to learn quickly from books. I know others do not. Regardless, if I’m reading a programming book, it is usually nearby a computer where I can try stuff out. At the end of the day, the time at the keyboard will be time well spent when learning a language.

  • Most receipts contain a time stamp. I could imagine a scenario where someone claimed Mitch (if he was still here) was involved in a crime and he could use the donut receipt as proof of innocence.

  • Regardless of how crooked and obvious of a big deal this is, absolutely nothing will be done about it. The time for consequence in America for politicians has passed.

  • According to U.S. code:

Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States and having knowledge of the commission of any treason against them, conceals and does not, as soon as may be, disclose and make known the same to the President or to some judge of the United States, or to the governor or to some judge or justice of a particular State, is guilty of misprision of treason and shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than seven years, or both.

He is taking money from Russia, who is an enemy of United States, and has the intent to undermine the current government and this year’s election. He didn’t report it and benefited financially from it. Sounds like it fits the code well to me.

  • In a normal world he would be in prison for treason. There is no way he wasn’t aware of what was happening when he was being paid 100,000 a week.

  • She was on one of the teams that did if I remember correctly. I believe they split up into three teams and developed algorithms independently from one another. What surprised everyone was when they came back, all three teams had more or less the same image. It’s been a while so I may be wrong on some details. But it wasn’t just her is my point.
