  • Fall is the best, summer is my favorite. No further questions, please.

  • I'm using Voyager and it handles that pretty well.

  • Basically just a browser machine for people who only use a browser and/or web apps anyway. Wouldn't recommend one personally but if it works for your use case then it's great. Remember that the best software and hardware is whatever makes your life easier (or you like better, depending on your priorities).

  • How could you even post this you sick fuck

  • There isn't a specific thing I'm looking for, that the point of the post.

  • Never knew that was a thing

  • Yeah

  • I read when I have time and when I feel like it, these days it takes a while.

  • Smooth I guess bc idk what you mean by chunky. I just use tea bags to make the tea and sweeten with honey.

  • I dont trust crypto stuff bc it's essentially gambling, and any non-crypto use is worse than just an encrypted text file.

  • Imo it's perfectly fine not to have an opinion on something so long as you don't weigh in on it, much like how you shouldn't complain about which candidate got elected if you didn't vote.

  • Ik this is a joke but if anyone is wondering it's because units of linear motion (km/h, mph, etc.) do not accurately describe rotation. Rotational units like rpm are much better as linear units give a misleadingly large (though technically correct) number.

  • There is no reason a ryzen 5 4000 and a GTX 1650 with 16 GB of ram shouldn't be able to run a game at 60 fps at 1080p native resolution, or at 1440p (monitor I use now is the resolution) with upscaling and still look decent. That's not even an opinion thing, cyberpunk runs at a good framerate at 1440p looking absolutely gorgeous with fidelityfx 3, but I shouldn't even need that. Also, "just upgrade your pc" is like telling a homeless guy to just buy a house because 1) PC shit is expensive and 2) I have a laptop so I can't just upgrade bits and pieces.

  • Nothing runs at a decent framerate anymore, I have no choice if I want it to look decent. 60 fps isn't that much to ask for.

  • There is a setting that says port forwarding in the desktop and Android apps but I've never used it. If it helps, I did turn it on once to see what it was and it picks a port for you which afaik can be important.

  • Yeah I think PIA is a golden example here. They've got RAM-only servers so they have no data to turn over in the first place.

  • No I'm relying on people to protect their own data, I'm saying that platforms should too. Edit: also most of the time they don't have to turn over anything but do so willingly, they should say no unless presented with a valid warrant.

  • This kind of surveillance should be something every platform fights against. Remember that the government does not own you and they are only entitled to any of your data at all when necessary to uphold the law and under a warrant. Protect your right to privacy or they will use what you do I private to justify stripping you of all your other rights in the name of justice they will at that point no longer uphold.

  • JD Vance is crazy
