  • Probably don't want to play graphics heavy games on it. For everything else it's pretty much like any other phone. Although of course it's not quite as premium as flagship phones. Hardware wise, a Pixel 8 leaves it in the dust. But you can't swap your battery or really anything on that one.

  • Because companies give zero fucks. They will tell you they need tons of IT people, when in reality they want tons of underpaid programmers. They want stuff as fast and cheap as possible. What doesn't cause immediate trouble is usually good enough. What can be patched up somehow is kept running, even when it only leads you further up the cliff you will fall off eventually.

    Management is sometimes completely clueless. They rather hire twice as many people to keep some poorly developed app running, than to invest in a new, better developed app, that requires less maintenance and provides a better user experience. Zero risk tolerance and zero foresight.

    It still generates money, you keep it running. Any means are fine.

  • Not all rest is equally refreshing. If you have a sleep deficit build up, a bad mattress, a loud environment, some psychological or physical condition, it can negatively affect your sleep.

    You should look out for stuff that makes you sleep worse. I don't do sports in the evening, I try not to eat too late and I don't look at my phone the second I hit the sheets. There is also a midnight high I particularly struggle with. If I don't got bed before it, I absolutely cannot sleep, unless I take melatonin.

    Takes a while to figure out everything for you personally.
