Victim of Communism

  • this is just justifying your moral blindness

If you can't see past the party label to the individual policy, that's definitely an example of blindness

  • orally defending essays

Nice to see. Does require small class sizes and ample office hours. Also kinda rough on kids with speaking issues, heavy accents, etc. But that's trade offs for you.

    Government monitoring of computers

    Sigh

More heavy handed government surveillance. Somehow it's never enough

  • A Democratic Socialist.

The Schumercrats went $30M in the hole to kill his campaign.

  • laughs in Michigan Senate

  • The Nazis loved to romanticize Eastern European wilds in their propaganda. Not so much when they were driving through it with their armored cavalry.

  • Pretty sure the birth rate is plummeting

The birthrate in industrialized nations has slipped from slightly above replacement to slightly below replacement over the course of several decades. World population is still growing and estimated to top off at around 10 billion people in the 2080s

Of course, the plutocracy has been preparing for this with the rapid development of their human labor panacea - AI. This massive rush to Create God, as described by the lunatics at Microsoft, Tesla, Amazon, and Google, is much more about finding a low-cost industrially scalable replacement for live humans.

Meanwhile, we're gearing up development of sophisticated methodologies for mass murder and demoing them from Central Africa to Southeast Asia.

The only catch is that much of the modern-day Unaligned States haven't taken it laying down. One reason we're seeing Iranian ballistic missiles focusing their fire on Amazon Data Centers across the Middle East. We're hitting the nexus between western reliance on advanced artificial intelligence in lieu of human labor and their geopolitical rivals seeing these institutions as a threat to the lives and livelihoods of human populations.

You might also want to take a hard look at all those Flock cameras going up across the United States. And how they are increasingly integrated into the national police organizations busy black bagging people and shoving them in concentration camps.

  • Scientists

    Misspelled Eugenicists.

  • And how does electing Republicans improve things?

It's a false choice when your only options are fascists.

    Consider Jim Justice, for instance.

  • The plots have already been leased and demand for electricity is high enough. They probably will just kick these properties over to someone else while taking Trump's free money.

But, in the meantime, you get development delays and energy price inflation.

  • The noise aimed at Hillary died down significantly once it was clear she'd given up on the presidency.

  • OK, let’s say covid did come from a lab leak. Would that have changed, in any way, how the pandemic was handled?

The presumption is that China caused COVID, not domestic health policy. And that by falling to acknowledge Wuhan as the proximate cause of COVID, we are ignoring the clear and present danger of Chinese immigrants, Chinese trade, and interstate travel to the Chinese mainland.

  • People have been making this demand for decades.

It only sticks when Dem leadership finally changes.

  • Vote in the leftists in the primaries, and vote for harm reduction in the general.

Sometimes harm reduction means voting for a good primary candidate, watching them lose, and staying home in the general because the alternative is a liberal-coded fascist.

Democratic socialists have won several big races recently because people actually bothered to vote in the fucking primary

Turnout swells when candidates run on positions that voters support. The DemSocs didn't win because people just happened to vote in larger numbers. More people voted because DemSocs were loud, proud, socially active, and adapt at getting people excited to support them.

When that energy goes away, Democrats lose long term. When institutional liberals try to smear and undercut DemSocs, they Dick Cheney their own base of support.

  • Dems are merely corrupt politicians: the Republicans are Xtian extremist white-nationalist fascists.

    Glances at the Gaza Genocide

    Glances at the Epstein Files

How the Hillary Clinton campaign deliberately “elevated” Donald Trump with its “pied piper” strategy

One's just a harmless little mosquito and the other is malaria. Why are you putting up mosquito netting when we have a much bigger problem at hand?

It is vanishingly unlikely that a 3rd party candidate can win in 99% of the elections.

It is vanishingly unlikely that a 2nd party candidate can win in north of 80% of elections, even in a wave year. Incumbency is a bitch. I would not use this as an excuse to blindly support the incumbent, without even asking who they are or what they're running on.

Not voting for the viable candidate running against the fascist GOP, because that candidate is not as $SOMETHING as you want them to be

Helping to entrench a fascist in blue will do nothing to deter the fascists in red. If anything, giving Republicans another Cuellar or Fetterman or Jim Justice will only embolden them.

If you believe your vote matters, you should reserve your vote for people you actually support. If you don't believe it matters, idk why anyone thinks calling you names and blaming you for their party's failures will win your vote.

Vote you conscience. Or don't vote if there's nobody conscionable to support. It's your choice.

Don't let anyone bully you or blame you for the fascist policies of folks five states away.

Unless, of course, you're an actual fascist. In that case, please kill yourself.

  • Who’s really blocking Wikipedia though? Is that real?

YMMV. I've been on intranets that keep a whitelist and block everything else. And since Wikipedia wasn't whitelisted, it was blocked by default.

If my work environment was like that I’d be spending my workdays applying to other jobs as soon as I realized they live in the fictional trump cult version of “reality” meanwhile retaining evidence of their workplace political malfeasance to report if possible.

If you're a consultant, you're going to be working inside other people's networks. And those networks are going to have their own rules.

  • Analogy is a little weak, because so much of modern AI has been shoehorned in after obliterating the more traditional routes for internet information lookups.

If the traditional search engines have had their results irrepairably ruined by SEO and advertising? If you're locked out of Wikipedia, because it's been blacklisted for Wokeness? If StackExchange and Reddit have gone to shit because of all the spam? If you can't use Discord from your company/school intranet? If your coworkers are all new hires, because your boss fired all the old-heads for demanding real living wages, and now you're surrounded by a bunch of college grads with no experience in the company systems?

Then yeah, I guess AI is what you're left with.

  • Fauci was a predominant expert that made their Dear Leader look like the complete dumbass that he is, and they cannot have it.

Eh. He was the guy in charge of an agency the GOP doesn't like and he championed a policy - vaccination - that the QAnon crowd despised. At the time, he was fully in alignment with Trump on policy. He wasn't making Trump look like a dumbass. If anything "Operation Warpspeed" made Trump look exceptionally competent. We really did trailblaze a new method of engineering vaccinations and roll them out in record time. And I can't help but think Trump's natural phobia towards illness played a role in getting HHS and CDC a sudden infusion of needed funding.

But then the MAGA crowd decided vaccination was some kind of evil government conspiracy, more or less independent of anything Trump was saying at the time. And anti-vax hysteria ripped through the GOP like its own kind of disease. Biden inherited COVID and continued a vaccination policy, which made vaccinations "Democrat" coded and double-plus evil as a result.

So Fauci was turned into a scapegoat within the GOP. Trump threw him under the bus to appease his base. And now the GOP is whipping him to appease their own rabid, deranged voter base, because its something they can do on the eve of mid-term elections to distract from the economy and Epstein and Iran and a dozen other unpopular socio-economic turns.

And yes, I think the Democrats absolutely should drag every single member of Donvict’s circle into hearings to answer for their words and their actions.

I mean, I think so too. I just don't think they'll actually put these folks in prison over anything they uncover.

Just like after 2020, the Dem response to the GOP was to yell "Vote Blue No Matter Who" and then blame the stupid voters when Garland's DOJ failed to deliver any indictments.

  • It is actually crazy that people call the Democrats ‘left’.

To quote from one of the classics:

Where is the party in opposition that has not been decried as communistic by its opponents in power? Where is the opposition that has not hurled back the branding reproach of communism, against the more advanced opposition parties, as well as against its reactionary adversaries?

I've seen Democrats label Republicans "communist" for almost as long as I've seen Republicans accusing Democrats of the same. In a country of, by, and for fascists, all "Left" means is "I hate you".
