  • I don’t know what to feel about “AI is gonna burst” is the new clickbait title for… like a few months now.

  • This is true. Almost all time it’s the textures and the sound files. Even more, time to time devs choose not to compress them as decompression could be a performance bottleneck. Deep Rock Galactic is good example for that, the game is 4 gb because there’s no textures in it except UI brushes. All 3D models of the game uses very clever Vertex Coloring techniques instead.

You might be right with it could be optional, but I’m guessing it will be a deployment hell since Steam’s (only platform that matters) underlying mechanisms doesn’t directly support it, and when it’s done with workarounds it becomes a convoluted process for end users - especially when you consider most users will download the full pack anyway.

  • Nope

  • Nokia done so many things for the user interfaces in general, like they’re the power behind QT as well.

  • Less Police Presence. Crime rates drop inordinately as the population decreases, and with that, you see a lot less "boys in blue" - furthermore, because it's usually just a few people, you get to know them and have less anxiety with interactions.

That’s not the impression I got from Twin Peaks 🧐

  • So you mean losing your data on Linux not easy as rm -rd?

  • How about Camo Bermuda, is that part of their military as well?

  • I don’t understand why people first think of memecoins when there are a few stablecoins like USDT or USDC?

  • Gift cards are an obvious way to bypass regional pricing, so a low-income country like mine could get more harm than good (as in fraud increases and the storefront gives up ın regional pricing from that point on).

Also, when convenience of online shopping is lost, why would I bother wearing my shoes and get out to sun to purchase a gift card, while I can buy a physical copy of the game instead?

  • I’m almost sure they’re keeping that for the Earnings call.

  • I’m thinking otherwise. I think GPT5 is a much smaller model - with some fallback to previous models if required.

Since it’s running on the exact same hardware with a mostly similar algorithm, using less energy would directly mean it’s a “less intense” model, which translates into an inferior quality in American Investor Language (AIL).

And 2025’s investors doesn’t give a flying fuck about energy efficiency.

  • I swear I didn’t asked for this bloated fucking mess. The whole internet could’ve been optimized to 10% of whatever it is today but we’re trying to run ReactJS now in the backend instead.

  • I was the guy saying you’re one of those startups just making self hosting difficult on purpose. I’m seeing you’ve made great improvements there!

Going to give it a shot again. Thanks for the hard work.

  • Found out Ghost 6.0 is out today and now it supports ActivityPub. It’s time to set up a new blog I’ll never write once more!

  • Xbox should’ve been the prestige product for Microsoft (just like Logic/Final Cut for Apple) but Xbox itself depleted any prestige it ever accumulated over the last few years.

  • I was under the impression this is the main selling point of AirTags. Is there a real market for tracking lost luggage? I see AirTags being sold in every Kid’s store around here.

  • With all the reasoning thrown around, I’m wondering why the fuck such an advanced system would write JavaScript and not directly machine code.

  • It’s Turkiye* now.

  • I’m planning to purchase a USBC cable tester now.
