  • An often overlooked minority

  • Can someone ELI5, why the phone landscape is so different from PCs? Why can I take a Linux iso and install it on basically any x86 pc from the last 25 years, but if I want to install anything on my phone, I need an image specially tailored for my specific model.

  • Less garbage

  • To your partner, ok, I won't kinkshame, but who prefers a roasted chicken without skin?

  • Have you read the news in the last 10 years?

  • Thank you! Somebody telling me to "curate my YouTube Algorithm" is an excellent example of the sadness that is dispensed

  • Absolutely, I don't think you need permission to post a meme elsewhere. That's what memes do 😅

  • Oh No, you will be sad twice 🥹

I swear the title is a BSG reference

  • Still, I could of known.

    (See what I did there?)

  • Guilty, I guess

  • But the economy....

  • Damn, while I made the meme it wondered why it was "savings", because I was sure it is. Since English isn't my first language I concluded there must be some arcane reason for it.

    Thanks for clarifying

  • Transporters ar le weird. The way Dr. M'Benga keeps people in the transport buffer until there is a cure for their disease (Rukiya) or until medical facilities are no longer overrun (Battle of J'Gal) is presented as a hack. How is it not standard procedure?

Also he has to materialize them from time to time because their pattern degrades. So is it not a digital image of sorts? How can it degrade?

  • Yay, united Ireland!

  • Username checks out

  • I keep reading this "nobody wants AI" talking point. Is that really your experience in the real world? I'm surrounded by people who absolutely love that shit and use it for everything.

I'm by no means an AI enthusiast, but acting like people don't want it, why it's quite definitely the other way around is a bit weird. I feel like critics are inclined to replay the Blockchain playbook of "haha, a product with 0 use cases they try to push into everything". But with AI it just isn't applicable.

There's so much valid criticism for AI, but saying it's useless and nobody wants it makes you seem like a lunatic.

  • Go on

  • I didn't, but will do that next time! Thanks

  • Tasha was killed by a MAGA terrorist is now canon
