  • well, reddit and lemmy both look like old BBS', which is one of the reasons I prefer them. (Have just been looking at new reddit on desktop and holy hell, what unmitigated garbage. I used to be on a niche BBS which got bought by a company and turned into what new reddit looks like now; they lost about 20% of their users (including me) who couldn't stand the new platform.)
