Well, the average Trump voter is probably stupid enough to fall for this lie. And he might even get some desperate stoners and junkies to vote for him...
"If you have done nothing wrong, you have nothing to hide." Isn't that the mantra of the police and secret services everywhere when they demand more intrusive snooping rights?
So what do they do wrong that they suddenly have something to hide?
Saw that in Cambridge (the original one, in UK), and they had insane prices. We went to the market, and found the same shirt for a quarter of the price.
Not a tornado, but I've been on the Autobahn once in rain so heavy that the wipers could not cope with it at the highest setting. Under every bridge crossing the Autobahn, bikers were parked on the hard shoulder. I left the Autobahn and parked for an hour before the torrents ended.
Not experienced personally when it happened, but...
There is that forest valley we pass through on our annual pilgrimage. We have to take a wooden bridge over a small brook there. That water is so small that pilgrims even crossed it by removing shoes and socks and wading through at a time the bridge was broken.
Five years ago, there were heavy rainfalls and flash floods in the area. At the point where that bridge was, the water ran 8m/26ft high. Imagine standing there and looking up the cliffs left and right where once were trees. The bridge has been replaced, but the valley definitely looks different.
