I'm only alive because successfully killing myself is hard. Bernadette, she/her, smash bros addict, dog person, work addict, ruined beyond repair, stuck in the past. I will defend Amazon and Nintendo like they're the parents I never had. They did, and will do, nothing wrong, ever.

  • Every summer I get ants. I thought the doggos tracked them in on their paws but when they passed, we still got ants every goddamn summer. So many. Then spiders. The big ass thick butted ugly ass spiders. Those bitches just don't care about their lives. My daily routine in the summer is rinsing at least three spiders down the drain while I shower.

    Tragedeigh gets depressing sometimes as someone who had a horrible name growing up. Libraryofbabel kinda encourages my maladaptive daydreaming and honestly creating !0x255@sh.itjust.works wasn't the best for trying to break out of my daydreaming addiction.

    However I can get my Who's Who updates somewhere else. Everyone knows that it, you've got ulterior motives!

  • They don't know their children are streaming because they don't care about their children. They only care about drugs and watching TV. The children are streaming for money to buy things to break from the monotonous life of being told to go away and watching content farm slop. Some are trying to buy soap so they aren't the stinky kid anymore, as the parents can buy soap but they need to save for a $100 bag with a $5000 name on it.

    Also the viewers are the closest thing the children have to family and friends.

  • Interesting read, skimmed through it while working at Amazon. Seems like company wants money and company sold product for money, and also users generated offensive user generated content on a user generated content hosting platform. Nothing new. Yet you sleep on Walmart Marketplace.

  • Amazon is literally the best company like y'all really sleep on what the other big companies are doing. Support the company that gives homeless blind people a job that pays $22 an hour instead of the companies that fire people for being transgender or losing their apartment.

  • And you're supporting one of the few companies that actually give immigrants, transgender people, mentally and/or physically disabled people, recovered felons/addicts/etc, the homeless, single parents, poor people, people facing eviction, and anyone else in horrible situations multiple chances at saving themselves, living real lives, being independent, and actually living. All while being the most flexible workplace so whatever life throws at you doesn't ever cost you your job, and paying for their college tuition as a benefit alongside access to emergency loans on top of that.

    Can Amazon be a better employer? Sure, there is much more room for improvement. But they are far from unethical or evil. Boycott all the big box retailers and shop exclusively on Amazon. You're literally saving lives by doing nothing. You all wish for a button you could press to make people less poor and struggling, and you already have it. Buy your Pampers and cat litter on Amazon. Stream Prime shows. Watch Twitch. Shop at Whole Foods. Support the only actually ethical company.

    No one cares about their employees, let alone their entry level employees, as much as Amazon.

  • Family, several people on the internet who justify the years of abuse I suffered, past abusers and bullies, and honestly everyone in the world because they all justify my abuse and believe I deserved it. Everyone sympathizes with my abusers and also gaslight me into believing they're on my side. Okay, I deserved it. I also don't deserve to be alive as everyone wants me dead but then they gaslight me into believing my life matters and I'm not a burdensome waste of organs, flesh, blood, and resources.

  • Yeah I'd rather not. I'm already addicted to riding an electric scooter, super smash bros ultimate, and working. The work addiction and riding addiction made picking up DoorDash a bad idea since I'm addicted to it as well and would deliver orders after working 12 hours and not get sleep.

  • Being an actual person where everything I do isn't too fancy, wannabe grown, picky, spoiled, or out of my league. I want to wear fun clothes and makeup without everyone gawking at it for trying too hard to look like a real person, or everyone angry that it has nice things it doesn't deserve. And probably the ability to enjoy music since I lost that after every single genre I enjoyed was either below society or trying too hard to be More Than.

    I learned how to formulate the exact BS that satisfies the what the passing grades are looking for. I never learned, I just ground everything like I was grinding levels in a game. I forgot literally everything as soon as I graduated.
