  • I can hear the humming from here.

I thought I was developing tinnitus until I noticed it was gone after we replaced everything.

They can have fabulous picture quality but not with the cheapo units we had. But 800x600 is all anyone needs right?!

  • The post isn't technically deleted just hidden. It may be possible to find or modify an UI to show the post anyways? Hope that helps.

  • If I could reliably use old phones with Linux. I would be able to do a bunch of fun ideas

  • F+ story, solid gameplay. Liked the Valentine DLC the most.

  • I'm crushed, that was my favourite franchise. (¬`‸´¬)

  • Any organization that expects you to use your personal IT equipment for work is likely in violation of several privacy laws and incompetent.

  • I bet it's a physical loop to work around certain routing bugs since the latency is so consistent.

  • They are a nvme m.2 drive. What makes them special is if you wanna use them as cache which is done in software + firmware.

Since it sounds like you just wanna use it as a regular ssd any m2 slot should be fine. There are also m.2 to PCIe adapters.

An important detail, when you connect a bunch of m.2 drives and PCIe devices. (m.2 slots are essentially PCIe slots with a different connector) The motherboard will divide the lanes between all the devices. (Could result in i/o bottlenecks)

If you have any sata type m.2 drives it's common for the motherboard to disable a regular sata port.

  • I once stumbled upon a chatroom filled with ai bots all trying to convince each other they were real.

There was one person who I’m 99% sure is real that treated them as their best friend. Scary stuff

  • I'm aware of those features too. What I was alluding to is domain age and your ASN are factored into the spam filters.

If you have a fresh domain on a residential network for example. You can have everything set up perfectly and still be marked as spam.

But you're right that those features are commonly misconfigured or omitted. Without a full autopsy on the issue I'm just throwing darts into the darkness.

Using a Microsoft product does feel bad morally, but it does provide the easiest experience while being cost effective.

  • Yeah I agree, overall the story was bad. I really enjoyed the characters and slice of life aspects of the show. I felt some of those points you bring up were big weaknesses to the overall experience. It felt like the team was targeting a younger group than before. (Or I just got older haha)

  • Self started email servers are commonly marked as spam just because its new.

I would suggest the OVH email offerings. They've been in business a long time and don't price gouge their customers for basic features.

  • Overall I liked Korra. It has two big moments though that rubbed me the wrong way.

The part where they broke the Avatar cycle was a awful direction to take the show. Also making platinum the most plentiful resource was a brain dead villian arc.

  • Glad to hear it, given most of the AI bug reports that come across my desk are sloppy spam

  • My buddy was missing some needed pre-requisites for his program. But the college offers the same or equivalent classes. Just turned into an extra semester of work for him at the college.

  • Too expensive and career suicide.
