  • What movies out there have horrible taste and poorly thought-out plots but were excellently executed?

  • It's yet another subjective thing because it varies from person to person. Basic Knowledge from Person 1 will say "common sense, simple math" and Person 2 will say "manners and developing respect". I mean, it's everywhere.

  • What's your overall opinion on generative AI?

  • It has its uses. It's just ruined by the bad apples of people who've long have had malicious intent where if you put anything that was intended for a good purpose in front of them, they'd ruin that for everyone.

    For example, when there are things I do not know about like objects, I can take a picture of it, direct and show ChatGPT by asking what it is and it'll tell me. It's convenient to talk to an LLM to understand phrases, slang, slurs and their history about them in real time. I also have enjoyed using it to fix and enhance images that my phone's piss-poor autofocus fucks up on with some images.

    I think what really ruins AI is that, select people and companies are way too heavily reliant. It is not a solve-everything tool. It is not something you go to about everything, like mental therapy. It is not something you should be using to cheat on homework, to have it help you with getting by in colleges and school that rely on your own problem solving skills to navigate.

  • What do you think of Christopher Nolan's Batman Trilogy?

  • I felt that they were the most definitive Batman movies we'll get for a while. I don't think it was fair for people to uphold Dark Knight Rises against the Dark Knight, because the bar was already set high. It was all a nice breath of fresh air to have a series of movies that didn't play up to a lot of fan service like the MCU did.

    To this day though, I really don't like how growling Batman got when he spoke. What was up with that? Give him a freaking cough drop.

  • What do you consider as "unworthy moments" in your life?

  • Shitty apps on your car's dashboard taking forever to load, like Android Auto. Google Maps too. God forbid I wanted to try learning a new route and see where it went to get to a destination, they both took so long and I didn't want an accident that I caved going the familiar routes.

  • Does anyone else find 'pseudoanimation' annoying?

  • I don't. When they're used to progress articulation of what they're talking about, it's a need.

    What would you prefer? Minutes and minutes of text? Did you expect full fledged movies?

  • It depresses me that decorating isn't the same when there isn't anybody to enjoy it with. Like why bother? The stuff is temporary, most of it will be donated or thrown away.

    I think this year I'll take an entire week off from work and just enjoy the nurture of eggnog while doing what I want.

  • I'm pretty flexible with a lot of my perspectives in views, because it helps me see a lot of angles. The problem starts is when someone wants to ruin that fun by trying to convert me into their way of thinking.

  • Hell, they'll give you this look even when you say you like Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and of all bands - Motorhead.

    People have particular subgenres of taste, but who the hell decided at one point that we should evaluate what is metal and what isn't?

    I have given bands like Cannibal Corpse, Death and sprinkles of other Death/Black metal bands honest tries. To me it's all just noise and the vocalist guarantees me that I will not like them because it's just belching and barking lyrics.

  • Because Ghost is not going crazy with solos, screeching/belching/barking lyrics out, isn't recording their material in some hollowed out and echoed building somewhere. They also aren't catering to lyrics about how it'd be a wonderful day to be devouring some flesh and fucking the eye sockets of a skull. But you wouldn't know that with the vocalist doing said belching/barking/screeching lyrics until you read what the song is about.

    So basically, Ghost is not liked because it's not catering to metal edgelords.
