The main image editor most people will recommend is GIMP, but depending on what type of image editing you're doing, Krita might be better. They're both available for Windows, so you can install them now and try them before you switch :)

Not particularly, it's just one of those taking the piss out of the neighbours jokes. Wales is small enough that we're all close enough to be neighbours :)
To add to this, I've been looking for a cheap kid's tablet recently, and checked Amazon. A significant number of products have the details listed incorrectly. Some are obvious, like mistaking storage and RAM, but some would have the details completely wrong, saying something like 'purple' for the screen, or '10 inches' for the wifi capability.
An AI isn't going to be able to figure out what should be where from that, so you'd have to manually check every product. If Amazon can't get it right, what chance do you have?
You set the whitelist in Minecraft, and it uses your ID. I can't remember exactly what Minecraft calls it, your player ID maybe. It doesn't matter where you connect from then, as long as you're logged in. I think it works the same way with pirated accounts too, but I haven't got any here to check.
For the firewall, I've just been checking through the Minecraft log every now and then and banning the obvious bots and scanners, so that shouldn't affect you either :)
We connect directly via IP at my friend's house and only we are on the server, so no worries of griefers or internet randos.
Just in case you haven't already, set up a whitelist. I've got a server running the same way, and I regularly get people trying to connect. I've also set up the firewall and blocked known scanners, but still get a few attempts.
I've got a weird issue with the soles of my feet. I'm not ticklish at all, but the soles of my feet react as if the nerves are turned up to 11. It's only for light touches though, I can walk around barefooted with no problems, even on rough surfaces.
If someone touches my feet it's a sensory overload that lasts for a while afterwards. It's a weird combination of light tickling and burning, and feels like there's something stuck to the bottom of my foot for a minute or two after the touch stops. The really weird part is, I can tickle my own feet, but apparently you're not supposed to be able to tickle yourself 🤷🏻♂️
I can't remember if it was the exact same procedure, but I've had something very similar when I had a bladder biopsy done, but I'm going to beat you on making someone else uncomfortable :D
For anyone who doesn't know, these procedures start with an anaesthetic gel being squirted into your penis through a syringe to numb everything, then the camera and tools get inserted. It's been a while, but from what I remember, some air gets pushed in along with everything else. The nurse warned me that the air coming out can be uncomfortable. I also had to have a pretty full bladder for the procedure.
Afterwards, I needed to pee straight away, so used the toilet next to the waiting room. When I went, it burned a bit from the gel wearing off and everything just generally being tender. Suddenly though, I had this feeling of intense pressure, and a fireball forced its way out followed by some boiling pee. I used my free hand to steady myself, and my knees almost buckled. I let out an involuntary 'Jesus Christ!'. I finished and cleaned up, and the nurse met me outside the door.
She had a huge grin on her face, and said 'I told you it would sting', then nodded towards the waiting room, where about half a dozen terrified looking men had apparently heard me :D
People: Oh how cool, I can monitor my chicken nuggets from my couch 5m away.
This would genuinely be handy for me though. I've got a nine year old, and have similar aged kids over quite regularly. If I'm dealing with the kids, I can't always hear the air fryer finishing. A notification to the phone that's in my pocket would be really helpful.
As you say though, there's always shit tacked on :(
