It doesn't appear to have mattered. I know it's an issue important to a lot of people here, but changing her stance on it would not have moved the needle. It literally comes down to inflation and xenophobia. And the billionaires putting their thumb on the scale as hard as they can.

This is another reason why campaigns use volunteers instead of paid contractors, if the canvasser is invested in the election outcome, they aren't going to defraud the campaign.

I voted yesterday in a packed blue district. It was crowded, which is good, but there was a notable absence of young voters, which is bad. Hopefully, this just means that experienced voters are more likely to vote on the first day of early voting and first time voters can be convinced to go to the polls before or on election day.
