Ah, folly of untyped systems. Tbh this behaviour makes sense given the rules implemented within the language. Anything passed to parseInt is casted to string and then parsed.
Is it shitty behaviour - yes. Does it make sense in given the language implementation - yes.
My point is tha the libraries itself are not in Python and thus most likely not exclusive to it. This is not an attack on Python, I just find it funny a bit :)
I think you still didn't understood me correctly. I'm not against calling people what they ask me to call them, I'm against the idea that I should be proactively gathering that information.
