  • Probably not supposed to work, but in a browser I have some of the premium features mentioned from playing whatever I want, changing the queue to creating playlists - all with a free account. I tried it with different browsers, different accounts and even without uBlock - just works. I still don't understand why and how. If it is a bug, I hope that they don't notice/fix it :D

  • You don't need the subscription to do all that. At least not in the browser.

  • Honestly I don't consider them plot holes. 'Don't try to understand it' was not only directed at the protagonist. The premise is pretty much what if we simply accepted this impossible mechanic.

  • Probably not.

    1. I can't be certain that these earnings will cover even 10% of my expenses for a lifetime, because you never know.
    2. I feel too young to make such a drastic decision that will tremendously limit my future.
    3. I prefer enjoyable work with a healthy work-life-balance over not working at all.

If anything, I'd take more risks and sacrifices to get a more fulfilling work experience.

  • While I'd interpret it this way, too, "can't understand the hype of" usually translates to simply "dislike", but with a stronger emphasis on invalidating the opinions of the people who do like it.

  • Technically I do share it with the world, since I did upload some of my writings to my website. But the website itself was actively shared with only a few people. I'm not satisfied with my writings, but I'm satisfied with writing as a hobby.

I'm a terrible writer, but I love to get my thoughts and feelings out in form of fictional stories. Unintentionally they seem to be pessimistic, suicidal and pretentious, I think, as one friend keeps telling me that they are so deep and full of meaning. Only a few exceptions were good enough to get her to discuss the actual topics.

I write irregularly in recent times. Since I currently work on my first novel(s), I spend more time on outlining.

It used to be my dream to become a writer / screenwriter. Now I wouldn't want that, even if I was good. At best, I would make an anonymous physical copy of my first novel(s), but then again, that seems like a huge waste.

  • There is a difference between the influence and reflection of politics in everything we do, and an actively politically motivated action. Not that the latter is a bad thing.

  • I played Cyberpunk 2077 at the lowest settings with a GTX 1060. If realistic graphics can be a feature of a game, not caring about realistic graphics is a feature of mine.

  • I don't. I'll share this technology, preferably with trustworthy competent people. At last, I'll probably figure out how that decision lead to my assassination.

  • I haven't played it in a long time, but I always enjoyed Super Tux Kart. It reminded me more of the Moorhuhn / Crazy Chicken Kart games than Mario Kart. In general, before Steam Proton made Gaming on Linux almost free of any hassle, I spent more time with free and open source games like Nethack or Battle for Wesnoth that are available in many Linux package managers.

  • It's not really grief. Thankfully in my young life, I've yet not lost anyone, close to me, beyond my own decisions. But it takes me seconds to let go of people without ever expressing how much they mean to me. Then it takes me years or forever to let go of the thoughts.

  • If I reduce it to the shows where I watched more than a few episodes:

    • La case de papel: The start of the second season quickly turned me off, because it seemed like everything just got bigger for the sake of it.
    • Vikings: I tried many times and I did always like it, but for some reason I never felt the urge to finish the first season.
    • Altered Carbon: It's already an exception that I watched the first season despite not loving it that much from the very beginning. Therefore I didn't even bother watching the second one. It's also one of these Netflix shows that suffers from sex sells overload.
    • Narcos: I think I stopped midway through the third season, simply because I wasn't interested in that kind of big action, although obviously I shouldn't have been surprised.
