  • Kind of like that dirty-minded, emotionally unstable uncle many people seem to have. The one who struggles to hold down a job or a relationship because they are emotionally stunted, mildly narcissistic and prime to irrational anger fits.

  • Here's a link from a December 2024 article. It mentions how the people behind Project 2025 had an online questionnaire. I remember reading somewhere that I'm addition to being an promoted on maga web sites, the questionnaire was also heavily promoted at Trump's rallies. I can't find a link on that now, but it makes perfect sense that's one of the places where they'd be advertising it and gathering names. It would be a very effective way of reaching those people.

Pertinent parts of this article, which again was published before he was sworn in, include:

Among Donald Trump’s many disconcerting campaign promises is a pledge to fire tens of thousands of federal employees and replace them with loyalists.

Project 2025’s online questionnaire for landing job in the next Trump administration asks about the influences on applicants’ “political philosophy.” According to one alumnus of the first Trump administration, the idea is to “see that you’re listening to Tucker, and not pointing to the Reagan revolution or any George W. Bush stuff.”

  • The same courts that the government routinely ignores, and that has a sham, corrupt supreme court at it's head? Yeah, good luck with that, unfortunately.

Oof. That's embarrassing. He's been oblviously leaking his credentials for months due to an earlier infection by malware.

  • "I don't stop at yield signs," he continued.

I haven't heard this expression before. I understand that he's trying to project the whole 'alpha male' things through that phrase. But that's a fucking stupid expression. Yield signs are there for everyone's safety, including your own. Not yielding at them, either literally or figuratively, is the sign of a dunce.

  • Damn, I've been lucky. In my last three positions the vast majority of my coworkers (like 90+%) have been pleasant and easy to work with. And I like all the other developers I currently work with.

I feel like they are trying to tell me something. I wonder what it is.

  • It'll just be a poorly-drawn bicep (for manliness) that looks suspiciously like a cock and balls.

  • Most of the new testament is for suckers and losers in these peoples' opinion. They are all about the vindictive, crazy shit in the old testament, and a few rare things from the new testament. like Paul's letters.

  • Welp, that right-hand photo just introduced me to my new sleep paralysis demon.

  • Damn, she died at just 21? That's tragic. She clearly had a ton of potential. But at least she inspired others and left a positive legacy.

  • Aww, did Elmo not get the memo about how Tesla are planning to DOGE his sorry ass? Did he only discover it via the media? Now he knows how all those federal employees feel! Not that he's capable of empathy or life lessons.

  • Oh God, please not Newsom! The only thing that two-faced, opportunistic, spineless shit heel deserves is to be tarred and feathered!

  • Ooh, he'd better watch out or he'll be on the receiving end of a luke-warm letter of dissatisfaction from Chuck Schumer.

  • "ThEy'Re BoTh ThE sAmE!!1!"

Not this idiotic argument again! The Democrats are definitely flawed as a political party. They have many large blindspots like this one. But they are miles away on a number of key issues from the GOP. And if you don't see that then you are part of the problem that got us into this clusterfuck.

  • From the interviews I've been seeing, at least some of them voted against Trump due to concerns about bullshit like this. I expect the majority did vote for him, in which case yes, karma's a bitch. But a) we shouldn't be treating them as a single voting block that all vote the same way, and b) regardless of the schadenfreude we get watching the Trump supporters among them freaking out now, there are grave knock-on effects for consumers looming - including those consumers who didn't vote for Trump.

  • Orange soda is very different from pure orange.

Extra tip: use pulpy pure orange so you get little bits floating around in the brown drink. It adds extra texture. It looks absolutely disgusting, but it tastes great.

  • Half pure orange juice and half cola.
