Got banned from reddit for telling someone to crawl back into their hole because they were defending circumcision while saying female genital mutilation was disgusting and abhorrent.
I was on my way out anyway but getting banned for thinking infants shouldn't have their genitals mutilated at all was the final nail that made me jump ship.
I still use it occasionally anonymously for porn but I've noticed a lot of the porn subs are shutting down so I'll eventually quit using it altogether.
I miss lemmynsfw. Fedinsfw isn't even remotely as good and as far as I'm aware there's no app for it so I'm forced to open it in my browser and it's not very optimized
My cat actually saved me from a break in by straight up attacking the dude.
I was sleeping on the couch in my trailer and suddenly woke up to my cat yowling and some dude screaming and by the time I realized what was going on the guy had already run out the door with my cat right behind him.
Kitty cut deep too cause there was blood spatter on the door frame where dude grabbed it while running away.
It started as just my job but after doing it for so long I realized I loved it.
The only problem is I cook purely by feeling so I'll make something that's absolutely delicious but won't write anything down so I can't make it again 😭
The worst part about wanting to give these stories the benefit of the doubt is there are just as many stories like these where the person is actually just that stupid.
Like the guy who sued Winnebago because he wrecked his rv while driving it on the highway with cruise control on and got up to make himself coffee. Iirc he won the lawsuit because the owners manual didn't say cruise control is not autopilot.
Hell most safety features we have today only exist because people were stupid
I'll suddenly become completely calm. Almost fully numb. I'll be in the middle of bitching about the situation and the next second I'm just standing there emotionless. That's my cue to leave whatever situation I'm in as soon as possible because if one more thing goes wrong I'm gonna start throwing chairs.
