  • I've only ever had the opposite issue with the nozzle being too far away from the bed due to the bed leveling using a dirty nozzle because the nozzle "cleaning" rutine uses a way too cold nozzle temperature so the plastic is not soft enough to be pushed away and the filament is not retracted so it also oozes because it has been heated for too long. Imo the printer should purge, then retract then clean and then bed level.

  • Can we also fix the depression glitch where happiness points aren't collected and your brain energy bar depleats completely with no way of regeneration without hacking the brain with 3rd party tool antidepressants.

  • Open source or no sauce from me to this company.

  • Well it runs offline and it is helpfull and it is open source so all the boxes ticked for me so far.

  • This is an actual good use of AI. Thank you.

  • What's on my USB stick you ask... A bunch of random shit I haven't touched for 8 years so I have no idea what it is and it's probably outdated, but I'd be damned if that usb stick is not In my keychain because "I might need it one day"

  • Same for bicycle helmets. Maybe you are not crashing because you feel like pro rider and you are just biking 500m today, but someone else might run into you by accident making you crash. Same for seatbelts in the parking lot.

  • Antennapod is what I use now. Works just as well as Google podcasts.

  • Google is making easier and easier for me to degoogle my life. Bit by bit I change to foss apps and never look back

  • I have a raspberry pi with a cheap 5TB usb drive at my parents house that boots up once a week and pulls a backup. I use rsnapshot to create incremental updates that takes up every little space and is easy to manage. I have the drive accessible with smb should I ever need to pull a copy from there. It's super slow but that doesn't matter for an off-site backup and it is super cheap

Edit: I should maybe add for future readers that cheap does not mean cheap quality but cheap relative to the amount af TB you get per dollar. I use a WD shingled drive wich is quality drive but cheap and slow af. But it doesnt matter because the internet connection is the bottleneck anyway.
