  • What sucks is that it ruins relationships for those of us who know the person has it but they don't think they do or use the Internet to do a "lol I have ADHD, what's your super power?". I have a ton of sympathy for you all who know you have it and want help but have docs who think you're just fine, because everyone these days runs around saying they have it.

If you can't tell I'm dealing with this situation, and they are basically pushing me away because they think they're just fine, and I'm the issue. Yet all their relationships always end in the other person being the issue, and everyone being against them. ADHD sucks and it's so shit how social media has turned it into just some joke. Like it's a "hah" disorder and not a life altering disorder that needs serious help.

  • Well they'll have the insider knowledge before anyone else.

  • Just asking the question is interpreted as supporting draconian gun control. Or, worse, any gun control is seen as draconian.

Dems get control of VA....first thing they do is an AWB which doesn't do shit for gun violence. So yes the slope isn't just slippery, it's usually a cliff.

I'm fine with right to gun ownership for most people, but put some limits around mental health and violent history. There are people who own guns for lots of legitimate reasons from hunting to self defense to fun. It's all good when those people are stable.

Who's the ones saying that you're mentally stable? Remember maga thinks anyone who is LGBTQ+ is mentally ill.

People who have a violent history are already not allowed to own firearms.

And I agree many of the proposals do little to attempt actual solutions.

The solutions are things that don't need more firearm legislation.

  • It is odd that the 3 big players are trying to rush to IPO... probably to dump their shit and cash out before the bag holders have time to sell... I've got a feeling they know it's going to crash soon.

  • And this is why Dems will continue to lose the vote of the single issue voters who are voting red because of guns.

Stop trying to ban them or create bullshit laws that do not effect the violence. All it does is lose votes and seats.

Focus on the shit that will effect the violence as a whole. Single payer, help unions, spend way more on education, smaller class sizes, end the war on drugs, safety nets for people...a ton of things that will get votes and will actually drop the rate of violence in the USA....but nope go run around shouting about banning black plastic rifles cause "think of the children"...

  • And those of us who don't have it but live with someone who does and doesn't think they need meds to help... it's a terrible disorder that doesn't just effect the person who has it. I really really hate that it's downplayed so much on the Internet.

  • No they were not, that was the last time most younger people were able to afford homes.

    https://www.thezebra.com/resources/home/housing-trends-visualized/

The median house of 1960 would cost just $104,619 in 2020 dollars, far below the actual cost of $240,500, meaning housing costs have increased by 129%.

Homes have become less affordable: In 1960, approximately 68 out of 100 Americans could afford a home, but now only around 43 out of 100 can afford one.

Among 18 to 34 year olds, nearly twice as many people live at home with their parents in 2020 than in 1960.

Even in the 90s when the rates were in the teens more people owned homes.

The average age for first time home owners has gone up a lot as well.

Low rates do not equal more affordable housing, they end up pricing people out of the market at a much greater rate.

  • Please do this and have a shitload of flashing lights, and let it be 95+ outside, then let his brain cook itself while he rambles on, only like a dementia riddled pedo can.

  • Mortgage interest rates were in the high teens

And it kept the price of houses affordable. The interest rates today are stupid low and are what caused the shit market we have now.

  • When I mean toe shoes, I don't mean the ones that look like you got toes. I mean that they're not like running shoes or well any other shoe that has a hard sole. More like you said ballet shoes but more flex and grip.

  • There are some I have worked for that also believe the earth is 6k years old and that evolution is fake and that dinosaurs weren't real... plenty of idiots in stem fields.

  • Lol that's how far I got and just fucking Roflcoptered....like how fucking dumb can you be...

  • Proper shoes for climbing are basically bare feet. You're issue will be your weight, but you'll lose that the second you start climbing. Go to a bouldering gym and give it a go again. It's extremely fun and sans the cost of the shoes cheap to do.

  • Where's that chart that shows that like 40% of all the llm data comes from reddit.

  • Your link is for Hamtramck

My bad, Hamtramck is still historically a dem stronghold.

    "Scholars"?!?

You didn't even read the link did you...

No one is debating that sometimes Muslims vote progressive or something progressives vote for Muslims. The answer will never be 100% either way.

The left gives islamists a pass a whole lot. Let's stop pretending they don't.

You said you wanted to talk about your link, but you've got the location wrong you don't understand it was conservative politicians elected by conservative voters and I'm struggling to think of any excuse for why you think that link is valid

Again, Hamtramck is a blue voting area.

    https://bestneighborhood.org/conservative-vs-liberal-map-hamtramck-mi/

I've sure as shit wasted enough time as you as an individual though

    What?

  • First off Dearborn is not conservative... they're historically dem...they voted 68% for Biden in the election. So no you're completely wrong.

Second, This isn't something that's not been discussed and is a new thing. Plenty of scholars have written about it.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Progressive_Muslim_vote

  • Yep grab a mk3s from FB marketplace for like $200 and print like mad.

  • Hell no, Obama isn't a Muslim and we need more Mamdanis. Did you even read the link? Mamdani didn't spew his religion around at all, he's kept church and state separate like it should be. I just hope he doesn't get bogged down doing the good he has already done by the Dems in NY who hate him.

You're doing the same shit that other progressives do, afraid to call out islamists and give them a pass cause you think you will get called a racist. A right wing authoritarian prick is a right wing authoritarian prick no matter what color their skin is.

  • Didn't say Muslims did I? I said islamists. And as I pointed out in the article I posted, the left elected islamists because they can't seem to tell the difference.
