Not me but my dad. He was friends with a guy who was loosely related to someone relatively high up at Google when they first went public. His friend offered him 500 shares at 50¢ a pop. His life right now would have been wildly different.
Just finishing off setting up ElementaryOS on my wife's early 2015 MacBook Air. It's based on Ubuntu LTS, but with a custom theme to make it macOS-esque. Seems pretty good so far, but time will tell if she enjoys using it.
Edit: Everything but the webcam just worked out of the box. The webcam was a motherfuck though. Took the better part of 3hrs trawling forums to find the full instructions for installing the kernel module to get it running....

I have a desktop and 2 laptops running Linux and a microslop surface running win10. The surface has one job, run Pioneer Rekordbox so I can analyse tracks for my DJ decks. I can get Rekordbox running on bottles, but no usb pass-through means I can't format and populate the usb to stick in the decks. Tried in a VM and WinBoat, but it refuses to run on a VM.
I'm working this year, but the wife lucked out hard. She got invited to a house party, then today her friend called and said everyone except the two people hosting are sick, so it'd just be the three of em.
My raspberry pi was running for 3 years until my mother in law was having trouble connecting to the home VPN last month. She lives abroad but wants to watch BBC iPlayer stuff. Turned out an update had nuked her user settings, so I rebooted it for nothing.
