  • Let me guess he's making a new conglomerate that will own all these once public services and resources. Perhaps he could call it ''XX Farban'''

  • There will be more predictable and consistent outcomes than any other presidency!

  • There is something there, but I don't know about Biden being the main focus. It feels like a little mini civil war where after the US Civil War for a very brief moment we had African American politicians, leaders, businesses, and equality seemed at least possible. Then you have the KKK and white supremacy pop up and it's all gone. We had a brief run with what felt like some equality or equitable society, and then a big white supremacist movement came up and they are moving hell and earth to drag us back to the 1770s

  • It's only tyranny when THEY experience it. Otherwise it's just more big strong daddy to wank to.

  • They really thought Trump would ever do this? He's the most likely person to burn them.

  • It's true they have cameras and mirrors everywhere

  • As a citizen I feel this choice is not in my favor.

  • It keeps ticket prices down on the fresh powder!

  • I agree that you can't blindly give someone else control over such things, it would need to be run out of gov offices with people beholden to transparency for the public and not to which ever contractor they bid.

On the offline issue, I can see your point as valid, I just don't think it's impossible, CA still does paper voting through a scantron, millions of votes can be processed with paper, there's certainly ways of getting it done in my opinion.

  • Anti Trans bills running totals

    656 bills

    49 states

    13 passed

    621 active

    22 failed

I know the media will never report on most of this if any of it, but it's no secret the party that currently has control of three branches of government, including the most blatantly corrupt supreme court in US history, is actively trying to make trans people illegal, illegal to exist, or to be recognized, illegal to be publicly trans, and legal to deny medical treatment towards.

I don't blame you if you missed this movement happening right now, as it's not widely reported, but it's a huge problem and the cartoon is explicitly a MAGA republican stabing a trans person and calling it ''just politics'' and telling them to not take it personally.

  • You don't have to be RUDE to me, I just want your abuelos rounded up and deported/ in a prison/ forced labor camp/ disappeared what's the problem here!?

  • They hate on California for having broad healthcare access for the public because it's ''socialism'', but the reason California extended coverage so far is that study after study made it clear that if you don't cover the tooth ache, you will have to cover the root canal, or three ER visit for sepsis, or an ICU stay. We know giving people healthcare, cost less money then letting them get life threatening medical consequences. They also like to point to homelessness as though homelessness is a sign of total ineptitude, when R states literally forcibly transport their homeless to SF and LA. And the stat they don't realize they are pointing at, it's the number of homeless people in homeless shelters that CA maintains for a lot of money, but again. If there is no effort to keep people alive and well, you have to deal with the most expensive consequences. The RNC is the antithesis of keeping cost burden of the state low, and actual governing.

  • The headline says meltdown!! Just like a headline about my response would be ''insignificant man SLAMS Rubio for Top 10 Epic Anime Showdown interview''

  • He always seemed like the Mitt Romney of the Democrats, Romney loves to take a moral stand against his party, after he'd checked with his party Whip who assures him the measure with pass without his vote.

  • Not really. We have a lot of connectivity, the world has never been smaller.

  • If you look at polling you often find the majority of Americans don't actually agree with much of the actions of either party, I personally think direct democracy would lead to real progress and prosperity.

  • It would be fairly simple to pull off with modern technology

  • I like it!

  • Wouldn't that be a dream... but it would only turn into finding the doctor that takes money for a clean test.
