Now from your angle, where a groups beliefs offer predominantly positive benefits, eco restoration groups, foss folks, creative commons collective etc.

Yeah piefed is odd. Idk what it is but federation there has always been weird.
I disliked how everything was on world. If world closes down Lemmy is fucked. But the last straw for me was the anti piracy stance they took. With that it was goodbye. I still post a lot on some of those communities but simply for the sake of Lemmy users as a whole.
Maybe the most consistent was Hermione Granger, I say Hermione instead of Emma Watson bc I never saw her as anything else and had a crush on the book character too.
