  • As someone who is very good at driving without GPS in my local area, using GPS for long trips outside my local area does for sure slow my ability to learn the new location. But it doesn't remove what you already know.

So if your father is becoming incapable of driving his old haunts without assistance, I would worry there's something more serious lurking in the background beyond tech makes you dumb.

  • I think we all end up like the Asgards from SG-1 without the ability to transfer our consciousness to a new body.

Extinct via hubris. Obviously this assumes we do something about runaway global heating.

  • I haven't seen it mentioned, but I think Tremors (1990) is very much in the same genre as Army of Darkness, and I'm pretty sure the whole movie is pure practical effects.

  • I've only watched it sober, I think it makes decent amount of sense.

  • Winchesters

  • Can call the police when you threaten to hurt others, actively prevents teens from seeking outside help when they talk about killing themselves.

  • Agreed, but indiana roads are so much louder too. Its kinda baffling.

  • 1 cigarette for a €1? That seems like a deal.

  • I was 12 when that came out, and while I recognized it wasnt good, the pod racing was cool enough I wasn't too upset to have seen it. I did not watch the next two in theaters, we just rented them.

  • Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 3, I don't think I've ever matched this level of disappointment while sitting in a Movie theater since.

  • This movie is so fun. Its such a good time

  • Man minding his own bussiness stalking an animal to kill it, inexplicably attacked by animal he was plotting to kill.

  • Kitsune Tails is excellent and the developer is even on Mastodon

  • Epstien did replaced adults with children first. I suspect these dipshits will be remembered just as fondly.

  • If this damn breaks, it would flood montgomery county which is down stream, and more specifically Dayton, oh.

This petty scheudenfraude you're feeling is both misinformed and frankly the behaviour of a shitty person. The people most harmed by Trump will always be children who cant vote.

If we aren't cheering for children on welfare being punished for thier parents being poor, we shouldnt cheer for children of republicans being punished because thier parents are stupid.

  • Or Claus, he played Santa in that too

  • Competitive Super Smash Bros Melee, we won't ever die. And Nintendo has been trying to rub us out since 2008.

  • I run at the cemetary near my house, its quiet and wooded. The perimeter is a perfect .5 mile loop

  • What got me through what sounds like a very similar divorce for me was being a part of a hobby with an inperson community that met weekly in every large city around me.

I drove probably 300 miles a week going to events to do anything to get my mind off life and spend time with people I actually liked, doing something I enjoyed.

Things that come to mind that will meet this are martial arts, fighting games, and outdoor activities (like biking or hiking groups).
