  • Nah mate, cats do not immediately pass out if they have some fabric on them. Mine voluntarily hides under blankets all by himself for naps on a regular basis

  • He was helping me work and apparently it was just exhausting

  • She has opinions and everyone must hear them

  • I hope to one day achieve even a fraction of this level of relaxation

  • We only finished repaying our WWII loans from the US and Canada in 2006

  • What a lovely colour his coat is too

  • I know nothing about vocaloids so I have no context here, but I can tell you that "chimera" is a word that English borrowed from ancient Greek, which is why it doesn't sound much like a usual English word. There's an old Greek myth about a hero called Bellerophon slaying a monster called the chimera, and since the mythical chimera is a hybrid of several animals we adopted the word as a more general term

  • This cat would need absolutely no changes to show up in a movie as some kind of ancient fey trickster being

  • Oh he looks like a regular black cat, he just happens to be catching the sunlight here. He shall indeed be fussed over on your behalf

  • He likes to survey the world outside from it when he is awake too. He gets a good view of the birds hopping around on the roofs across the street

  • The stealthiest I have ever moved in my entire life was getting across the room to take this pic without him stirring

    Also, bonus pic

  • Would gladly risk my forearm's wellbeing deliberately falling for this trap

  • I appreciate the recommendation! Unfortunately the keyboard I've got is very old and does not have a MIDI output. I don't mind learning the old fashioned way though! It got me through the other instruments

  • Blues and rock are my comfort zones, and I can happily get along with most genres of jazz and metal that aren't ultra-technical. I can do some passable funk

Guitar is what I'm best at, I'm decent on bass, and I'm complete dogshit on keyboard but working to change that situation. I technically also own a little reed flute that I bought from a whittler at a winter solstice festival that I know how to play the Shrek theme and Darude's Sandstorm on

  • If you play guitar, bass, or piano/keyboard, we're having a jam session. Otherwise, board games! Flashpoint is a cool one, it's easy to pick up and it's cooperative
