  • Wow, so glad I moved away from FF, it's just progressively getting so bad! Really makes me sad for what it used to be.

  • Because they know they have such a chokehold on the market. I remember back in the XP days it felt like every year there was a new top tier security product that people were trying.

  • No way will I ever be trusting any type of "age verification" methods, I would much rather just not use those services.

  • If you were starting a new company what would you use instead of Jira?

  • Thanks for all the advice here!

Soulseek/Nicotine+ has been excellent for filling out my library of music, Syncthing is a very clear winner for syncing all of my music to my phone, I've begun using Symphony for playing my music too.

It's honestly revived my love for music! Goodbye spotify

  • Sailing the high seas is definitely on the cards!

  • This is one thing I have definitely considered! Do they come with Bluetooth as this would be good for the car too!

  • I'm honestly so sick of this sick world we live in. Lately it just seems like the veil has slipped and we can see how truly depraved the rich and powerful are and we are not able to do anything significant to change it.

  • We all know that people who are poor and homeless are at much greater risk of mental health issues such as schizophrenia, I really wouldn't be surprised if the same applies when you have too much money and become paranoid about various issues correlated to how you accumulated your wealth.

  • At this rate its us or them

  • I've seen multiple articles over the past few days, I seriously hope we are now seeing the downfall of AI. I seriously hope we can return back to creating meaningful technology.

  • You're so right! I use a VPN, Linux adblockers as much as possible and various other privacy focused technologies and my partner just thinks I'm paranoid.

They love that their instagram algorithm can serve them highly personalised clothing ads 😆

  • I stopped using Brave years ago but this should be the biggest motivator to get away from the browser. The thought of what Peter Thiel is probably getting from that deal is awful.

  • This is amazing, well done.

  • 🥾👅

  • I love PS but lookup: Remove-MgIdentityAuthenticationEventFlowAsOnGraphAPretributeCollectionExternalUserSelfServiceSignUpAttributeIdentityUserFlowAttributeByRef

  • WoW

  • I remember this happening to me too on osrs, my rsn was Zezima at that time... 😉

  • AI is still shit when it comes to obfuscated code. This is before it's all been obfuscated and become unreadable.

I've tried using AI to handle obfuscated scripts and it makes way too many assumptions as to what the code is trying to achieve.

  • You're looking at a server but correct me if I'm wrong but there is a difference in graphics cards that you would use for heavy 3d modeling and gaming so you'd have to choose which is the most important of the two.

That said I feel as though this is why people generally have a gaming PC and then say a PC which is used for home entertainment.

I personally have a NAS on my network, just basic with 2TB of storage which is used by home devices to backup important stuff and host media, a media PC for the main TV, a gaming PC and then my work laptop.

Of course some sort of all in one system which can do it all and is running VM's for separate functions sounds awesome but that would surely be very expensive. On top of this have you ever heard the fans which come on servers? Good luck finding somewhere to put a server in your house which is going to stay cool enough that it doesn't overheat and somewhere where the noise isn't an issue.
