  • I give them full control and power. I am the opposite in public life, which is interesting I suppose. I tend to seek out those who want such things. That and going back in for round 2 before I leave.

  • This one time, I got the $6 value meal, and it had 5 nuggets. A full 25% upgrade!

  • Happy cake day! Do we say that on Lemmy?

I agree. I doubt that leftist candidates would be popular in the context of what I said. I see it realistically as short of revolution, the dems are not going anywhere. If they actually listened to America, they might hear our voices too. This would help get our proverbial foot in the door, where we could actually push the party from center-right to at least left adjacent. I’d also support us simply experiencing a paradigm shift spontaneously, but I get the feeling that won’t happen…yet.

  • The DNC has failed the voter base. People got excited when Obama first ran. No one wanted Clinton or Biden, but the DNC forced them through, which certainly showed with voter turnout.

They could use this moment we are in right now to win some of the base back. Hold town halls, where all they do is listen to communities. Use all of that to develop a platform people actually get excited for. Put forth candidates who reflect those values. ???? Potentially get the ship pointed in the general direction that might lead us to something better than what we have now.

  • Question. Can I get double hamburger instead?

Fuck off Randy. Plz deliver cheeseburder to me.

  • In this day and age, you know you are on to something, when the government tries to silence you using out of context clips.

It’s antisemitism when one advocates for the liberation of an oppressed people (who are currently experiencing a genocide, ffs!).

  • An MIT Technology Review investigation reveals World’s unethical practices when onboarding test users across Africa and Asia, including deceptive marketing practices. The investigation also says that World was gathering personal data beyond iris scans, including heartbeat, breathing, and other vital signs, and doing so without obtaining meaningful informed consent.

Insane. When businesses are building massive systems to identify and track the citizenry, the government should step in and stomp it out. Instead, the government is mandating that it proceeds.

The system is functioning as expected. The system must be destroyed.

  • These sorts of transactional relationships create leverage that can be used against someone. They could also be used to obtain information socially.

On its own, do your thang girl. But when you have certain kinds of jobs, there are things you must abstain from.

  • This is good news, but that does not mean that trans youth healthcare has been saved. How many bites of the apple will the feds get? They’ve got to have their next play at the ready. Wonder what it will be? Declare us mentally unfit?

  • I tried my very best, but was only able to work out the first two layers. I knew that there had to be certain combinations of moves to move pieces around, but I could not for the life of me figure out how to even begin. Eventually I turned to Ruwix, and am now pretty good. I’m impressed he cracked it in such a short time frame. It was a completely new design, with no roadmap or strategy known.

But yeah it does make for a silly headline, to the layman.

    Edit: two words.

  • I messed up the algs so much for SQ1, I pretty much had to have the moves pulled up.

I’d say ghost cube is pretty wild, if you go in blind. Once you figure it out, it’s pretty fun.

  • I’d lie my way into a position that can run on autopilot for a few months, while I line up the next scam. The real skill would be maintaining the ruse across organizations, while actively working against the environments I would con my way into.

  • I remember liking it quite a bit when I was a kid 🙂

  • Life with Louie

  • I cannot wait until his lips turn blue 🥰

  • Appreciate it.

  • I stand by my words, don’t care about up/downvotes.

  • This whole situation has made me realize that I need to get back on the OpenWRT train.
